For over a decade Parkrose has been my go to place for my DIY projects, as I prefer a smaller business over a big box store. It's usually easy to get in and out of, and has a decent selection and prices. There is one employee (or maybe a manager?) at Parkrose these passed few years though that I have had nothing but bad experiences with named Brian. In most of my interactions with Brian I'll either get a bunch of unsolicited advice, feel judged for not knowing the terminology, or he'll be weirdly dismissive of the project I'm doing. What's been more frustrating however is his interactions with women. My wife has been in the store a few times lately for a project of her own and I can't help but walk away from every interaction frustrated. Condescending comments towards her, directing information solely towards me when my she is the one asking questions. A few occasions he's become visibly irritated to the point where I now tend to avoid him altogether. It seems like employees are on eggshells when he's on the floor, and I can't really blame them.

-minus groceries, this truly could be the one stop shop for all of your household and garden needs. The garden area is large, inside and outside shopping. Flowers, veggies and bird.Clothing from sun, rain, snow and beyond.Snacks galore.Tools, plumbing projects, painting projects, BBQ, party to patio, they have it all.Store is fun to browse, the staff is very friendly. Tons of parking.Great gift ideas, cards too!I’m not sure I’ll ever see it all…guess I’ll be back!

Very good hardware store, especially for nuts, bolts, and other "hardware". Also excellent selection and well organized plumbing department. Lots of quality parts that are simply not available at the two big box stores nearby. Also a great selection of lubricants and cleaners. Would easily be a 5 star rating except that the prices are on the high side. For me, being able to find good parts for what I need in one visit still makes it number 1.

I’ll never go back to a big box hardware store again. These guys were great! I had a hard time reinstalling a wheel on my mom‘s walker. I brought it in in order to get the correct locknut and they ended up installing the wheel for me. Personable, professional, and fun. Thank you!

Disappointed with Parkrose Hardware after being told propane couldn't be filled due to darkness, despite ample lighting and a nearby streetlight. I promptly went across the street to a 76 station where they filled my propane without issue. The dishonesty from the cashier has left me with a negative impression, and I won't be returning to Parkrose Hardware.

I went to buy a saw. Wiley made sure that we got our saw and got out of the store promptly. She did her job, and was not lazy. This store has generally good customer service. They did well by continuing to hire people who are capable and competent to do their jobs. This made me happy to give them my money. Good job, thanks for not making my purchasing experience take any more time than it needed to.

I always find someone to help me, especially because I don't shop there frequently and I get overwhelmed by all their options. Especially all the different sizes andctypes of screws!! Even if I know what size I need, it's like looking at a wall of hundreds of sizes! Thanks, John, for helping find the right type and the right material. No wonder contractors love going to this store. Lots of parking and wider driveway entries for the big rigs.

Today we were in desperate need of a certain fitting for our John Deere tractor so that we could finish cutting the last few rows of hay. My husband tried 5 different places around Battle Ground with no luck. I drove down to Parkrose Hardware with the broken fitting. They didn't have one but Jim took the time to figure something out that would work. Oh my gosh, such a nice and extremely knowledgeable man. Thank you Jim, Julie G.

This is my go to for anything STIHL related. They usually have exactly what I need in stock. Whether it be a chain for my saw, trimmer line, 2-stroke mix, chain file, DeWalt tools, and miscellaneous hardware. The guys at the rental department or always super helpful and down to earth. .

This place is great. It has the product and knowledge to use a tool or replacement part. My first choice before going to a big box store.

Our favorite hardware store in town. Love that it's local and small. Everyone is friendly and they have everything we've ever needed. It's our one stop go to

I came to Parkrose Hardware to look for specific parts for a Kwikset lock based on a recommendation from a helpful employee at Home Depot. While Parkrose didn't have that specific part (nobody locally does), they had TONS of things I'd never have expected, such as work boots, work clothing, cotton candy machines for rent, supplies for said machines, individual sheets of very high grit sandpaper, 5-gallon barrels of solvents, and generally many items that the giant chains don't carry.Particularly noteworthy was the enormous selection of Stihl products. I've been to many Stihl dealers over the years, but none have had this huge of a selection. The area leading to the checkout counters has a huge selection of very unique soft drinks and candies, and itself seems like a mini "Rocket Fizz" store.Service is very prompt and friendly.

Great hardware store. This is my go to place for odd job screws. Their screw selection is awesome. If you can’t find the fasteners you need here then it’s not in Clark county. There customer service is always top notch.
