I got a haircut today with Chelsea. I came in crying because I was so embarrassed by the state my hair was in and left with the biggest smile. Chelsea was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable and so much better about my hair. I so so recommend this salon!!

Amazing Experience!
I’ve been going to Parkwest Studios for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results each time. Not only does Larae have a great eye for detail, but her skill with color and cuts is unmatched. She truly listens to what I want and always delivers with precision and creativity. The salon is clean, welcoming, and I always leave feeling pampered and refreshed. If you’re looking for a salon and a stylist that is passionate, talented, and really cares about their clients, I highly recommend Parkwest Studios. You won’t be disappointed!

I have been dealing with hair that has changed from nicely wavy to frizzy with gray hairs that I call “doioioingers” (they have a mind of their own and pop out wherever they want). I have spent hundreds of dollars on shampoos, conditioners, pre-treatments, and products to get my mop under control. Nothing worked. A friend recommended LaRae at Parkwest Studio. My friend, Judy, said, “If anyone can help you, LaRae can!”
The website (www.parkweststudio.com) for Parkwest Studio is excellent: easy to navigate and informative. The form to request an appointment is a breeze. Tell them what you want (from a simple cut to color or extensions, etc.), and the best stylist for your needs will contact you.
I spoke with LaRae, explained my problem, and made a convenient appointment. Within minutes of meeting, she was able to determine the problem with my hair and suggest a solution that worked perfectly in my lifestyle. Wash, cut, style, and a lesson on how to manage my hair was done in under an hour! And for a lot less than I'd expected.
Parkwest Studio is directly across the street (W 8th St) from the fun Esther Short Park and Playground with metered street parking. Warning: it is 1-hr parking! Some of the meters *require* the use of the Parking Kitty App.

Larae is AMAZING! Exceptional stylist, but also friendly and efficient. She does a great job without keeping you in her chair for too long and has never kept me waiting for an appointment. I’ve never received as many compliments on my hair as I have when I started visiting Larae!
