Doug literally yelled at me as I was at the checkout granted it was two minutes before close however, he spent a minute and a half yelling at me for being there two minutes before close I come to the gorilla Grill almost every day for lunch. Spend an excessive amount of money in the small store got stuck at the office late grabbed literally three items that I walked in purchased and walked out To be yelled at and insulted When picking up a few small items used to love this place I won’t be back I know it’s hard to find quality employees, but if they don’t wanna be there that bad they should just stay home

Stopped in the other day to grab some snacks for my kiddo and I. Sadly don't think I'll ever stop in there again due to a male employee being very rude to my child. I can't remember his name, but he was big and had dark curly hair and such a mean look on his face the whole interaction. He didn't say hello or even ask how our day was after shoving past us near the drinks. I'm not sure if that's how the other employees behave but I would really hope not. I'm not from the area and was visiting family, this makes me sad for them since I know they buy from here sometimes since they suggested it.

Overall 3/5I’ve been going since i moved into vancouver. the staff has been ok. The only issues i really have are how it kinda feels like they’re all dreading having to be at work. kinda feels like im walking into a pity party sometimes with everyone frowning or scowling. not to mention every time i’ve gone in the past 4-5 times they dont have proper labels for the hot food. i ended up buying a burrito somehow in a pizza pocket bag. had onions and taco meat and other burrito condiments in it. I can recommend it for others. but im probably taking my business elsewhere as everytime ive bought food recently its been wrong and ive ended up having to go back and buy something else without any sort of resolve or fixing the issue. they looked at me funny without even trying to replace the food i paid for. i couldnt even eat it! i’d have gotten sick and even said that!Staff and food are the reason i took off two stars but nonetheless like i said i can recommend this store for others at least. just not me.

I come here often, and have usually found it to have very friendly and quick service. I was in earlier this afternoon, usual great service, and purchased several items, including two packs of cigarettes. When I got home, however, I only had one pack. So, that's fine, a simple error. I called 4 or 5 times over the next hour, no answer or way to leave a message. So I found the office number in a review answer, but got the same... no answer or way to leave a message. Okay, I worked retail for 30 years, so I waited an hour, tried both numbers again. No answer, no message. Now, I'm pissed. I have mobility issues, and one trip leaves me in pain, I shouldn't have to go back in to deal with what WAS a simple error. So now what? Leave me an email I can contact someone over. You owe me a refund!

The gorilla grill is AMAZING for lunches but I have bought bread that's moldy here and this is a photo of the egg in the breakfast sandwich. Not the first time it's been like this, just ran out of time this morning and thought the last time was a fluke but it clearly wasn't. Last time, I returned it and said I think it's expired, meaning it's been in the hot case for too long. She said no, it was made this morning. Hot case foods have expiration times for a reason or they turn into this. Never again, blech

Used to walk here when I lived next door 8 years ago. Moved back to the area, and frequent it again for daily coffee. Great little place.

Bad crowd. Block off the parking by the trees. I parked to eat lunch before gassing up and some 'homeless militia'-looking guy popped out of a ratty truck to case my car *with me in it.* The shaded parking is an attractive nuisance. Never coming back. Jersey barriers, guys.

Went in to get drinks. Three younger staff members were working tidying up and all wearing masks. Clean, friendly, well stocked store.
