About The Salvation Army, Family Services
The Salvation Army Family Services is a food pantry that provides a great selection of food, mostly canned goods and side dishes. Associates are described as the nicest people who give their time, friendliness, generosity, and utmost kindness. They assist and guide people through the process. The service helps the community, with many expressing thanks for the love and kindness given. For some, volunteering has been a wonderful and helpful experience. It is important to arrive early and call from the parking lot, as sometimes an appointment to come back is given. A small garden with food and flower plants is out front during summer. While some have reported challenges getting food even when going early, others report getting a lot of food and a positive experience.

I volunteered a couple years ago after my husband passed away. It helped me through my grieving process. And it was so wonderful to be able to help others. I will continue to volunteer & help others.
