About The Salvation Army Corps
The Salvation Army Corps is one of the better food pantries in Vancouver. People can walk out with a shopping cart full of food, including can goods, box food, frozen items like meat, fish, and soup, breads, milk and eggs, cakes and deserts. They even have clothing if needed. While most food banks are very busy, wait times here are around 25 minutes at the longest, or 15 minutes on a good day. The people are super friendly and always willing to serve, and the team is awesome in assisting with needs. The place has also helped provide a place to stay for those who were homeless. It is recommended to call before walking in, as they get busy and may use a waiting list. Instead of a food box being brought out, people now go in to pick what they want. It is a true blessing that they exist.
