Buying a gun here is like a visit to DMV or Social Security office, except you will waste more time here.Ordered a gun on line at Sportsman’s Warehouse web site, scheduled pick up at this location.Got an email ‘come and pick up your order’, so I came:When you come to the gun counter - take a number, and wait - maybe 5 minutes, maybe an hour - impossible to guess as there may be one person working, or two, or three, or they may be just going to lunch.First visit - I was told ‘we got your gun but the manager needs to review the shipment, it is not unpacked, come tomorrow or later.’ So why did I get the email to come?Second visit - I was asked “have you completed training and paperwork?” Funny how they did not mention this at the first visit, when I could have done it. Completed paperwork and training, was told to come after the state waiting period was over to pick up.Third visit - came, took a number, waited 45 minutes - in that time only one person in front of me was being served, had no more time or patience and left.Fourth visit - came, took a number, waited 30 minutes, then it took another 40 minutes of leisurely processing before I was done. The staff displaying religious symbols and steady barrage of anti government propaganda would be fine in a social setting, but is very unprofessional in a business environment.

I’m done with this place, I’m taking my business somewhere else. What’s the point of having a number when people keep skipping the line. Overpriced ammunition adding to the poor customer service

Gun selection is hit and miss. Overall, sportsman's warehouse usually has what I need

Nice staff, but hide behind check stand and stay away from customers. They only sell pre made jerky and sausage packs. They lack key components to sausage and jerky making other than having to buy pre made one use packs. Sold by franchises they support. More of a gimmick store now than a real craftsman store. Not having pink curing salt at store lvl, but ever pre mixed seasoning pack in the world, speaks a lot to they real mission behind them. I have to go to wal mart to get the cure. Why, because they have it. Not a bush craft store. ?♂️

Going to change my review. I was told a date for my 10 day waiting period, it was wrong, now I have to wait, go out of town for work and can’t make it in for an appointment because they told me the wrong day! There needs to be more training I guess. I’ll never get them since I can’t time my 10 days for in town and I will most likely have to “restart” everything. Ridiculous!

I bought my first gun here, and the person behind the counter was so helpful! He helped me with selecting the gun and finding the ammo suitable for it. I had a great experience overall.

Last night I bought a pair of overalls that were on sale for my husband, got home they didn’t fit. The next morning I went back to exchange them which they didn’t have his size. Took them up to the counter to return only to find out apparently they were a clearance item and cannot be returned. I explained to the cashier I was never told that when I purchased. She then started to read the receipt, trying to find where it says clearance items cannot be returned. Guess what? She never found it and in turn said they should have told me the night before and there was nothing she could do about it. As I was walking away she added they can’t be exchanged either. Seriously!? So thank you sportsman’s for your horrible service, will never shop, walk in or purchase from your company again.

High prices. Basic guns selection. Only the popular ammo types available. Not what it used to be.

The staff is always top notch. While they tend to need a few more hands, product knowledge is spot on.

Blackfriday deal was a boldface lie. SW nailed out its black Friday flyer advertising all its deals along with hours, locations, etc. One deal caught my eye and I planned on being first in line when doors opened. I wasn't first in line, but was there when doors opened and was 3rd pick at the gun counter. Grabbed a seat and waited for no 1 and 2 before my number was called. Showed the clerk the BF ad and said I'll take that one. The Clerk says "That's what the last guy wanted. Neither of you will get one because they all sold last night after midnight". Didn't say anything about on line purchases in the BF ad, I checked. Pointed out what "Doors Open @ for BF" means. The clerk says "yea, that's a bad deal, don't know what to tell ya, maybe try back later for the next truck" And that was it. No rain check, no sigh up list, no apologies for lost sleep/time and gas. Nothing. Well "fool me once, shame on you, ..bla, bla.....me" I always thought the parking lot was empty because of the high prices, might be poor service or company policies.
