The Portal Cafe is a cozy and spacious gathering place owned by Vancouver Vineyard Church. It serves Jebale coffee, noted for its smooth, balanced, and creamy mochas, as well as gluten-free snacks and good matcha. The staff is super friendly, kind, welcoming, and funny. The space offers comfortable seating including tables, couches, cozy chairs, and cushions by a gorgeous fireplace. There is a tiny play area for children with toys and books. It hosts student events, church groups, prayer meetings, and open mic nights. It is a heart-warming secret and a go-to place, praised for its amazing price and community feel, though some wish for bike parking.

It’s a pretty hot day today, so I’m glad I stumbled upon this place! I ordered their seasonal Honey Lavender Cold Brew—it’s incredibly refreshing. The cafe is clean, bright, and has a wonderful atmosphere. Finding this spot feels like such a lucky win. I will definitely be back often!

Met here for coffee with the Mayor. I can't believe I live so close and never realized this place was there. It sits a little off the road but a great place to grab coffee. Comfy sofas and a fireplace add to the charm. Staff was super nice too!.

Wonderful staff that serve great coffee and pastries. Got a pistachio latte, so good. I recommend the raspberry white chocolate scones, they were incredible. Will be coming back!
