I rented a lift from here, you rent them through compact power tools. The problem is you can not get ahold of anyone to ever talk about anything including when the lift needs servicing. You call the store they transfer you, you call the number they transfer you and you end up in this loop. Unfortunately in the world today you can seam to never talk to anyone who can do anything...In the end I did get my money back because the lift was broken, but that did not solve the fact that I needed a lift and they brushed it off for a week until they finally said your right it is broken I will just come get it.

Rented a tow behind boom lift for 24hrs. The equipment worked great for trimming trees! Definitely make sure to have power available as it is electric. The staff was awesome and very knowledgeable!! Both renting and returning! Highly recommend, best experience I've had renting equipment.

I rented a 6in wood chipper from Home Depot it is $200 for 4 hours or $269 for all day. I got the cheaper around 10 in the morning rented it for the whole day. Got the chipper to my property and guess what was not working called Home Depot they had someone come and fix it for me it took them to 2 p.m. just to show up. By 3:00 pm got fixed. I try to run it was still not working properly. By around 5:30 I brought it back to Home Depot. I told them about the problem they said they will take care of me. Home Depot in the end charged me $200 minimum for 4 hours which is very unfair not only I didn't do the job I supposed to but wasted my whole day. Bad Business by Home Depot very bad business that's my last time doing business with Home Depot.

Worst tool rental shop in town. Their equipment is simply not cared for very well. They don't take any ownership for making sure it's in good working order before it goes out the door. This has caused delays in projects which cost more time and money to complete. When returning an obviously non-working piece of equipment that couldn't be used, they try their best to blame the customer. This place sucks.

Before talking to Ian, I would have definitely given this a 2 star rating. We are installing oak hardwood flooring, and needed the tools to start the sanding process. We were given poor quality sandpaper, the wrong grit, and the wrong type of sander for what we were doing; all recommended by the employees working there. After 2 days of rental, many back and forth trips to Home Depot, about $300 in equipment, and little to no progress made... I was feel extremely frustrated. We went to return the tool, and explained everything to Ian. Not only did he answer all of my questions and make me feel at ease about the next step we needed to take for our type of flooring, but refunded all the unused sandpaper, screens, etc., as well as most of what I had paid for two days of rental. Home Depot- you have one kick a** employee in your tool rental department. He is the only reason I will continue coming there for my home improvement needs. Thank you so much!!!

Big box hardware chain has most of the large items you'll need. Can't compete on the boutique hardware scale with the likes of the excellent ParkRose.

Rented a demolition tool and the staff was very helpful in selecting the right one. A good price for 4 hours rental.
