This place is maddening. The selection itself is great. The staff is excellent, although they are so numerous and ambitiously helpful that it can make maneuvering the store tricky. The hard part is actually purchasing items. They have endless specials, send constant coupons in the mail, and have a rewards program. The register has a device where you can enter your rewards info, but as soon as you approach the register, they ask "do you have a phone number for rewards?" It's just kind of an awkward start. Then they scan your items and based on which of the various discounts apply, you find out what the price is. You basically need a pre-checkout review with a staff member (maybe that's why there are so many?) to know what your price will be if you're buying multiple items. Since I'm personally a shopper who is just acquiring what we need and hoping not to leverage customer service, I started ordering delivery from here. No matter what platform you use and how common the items are, multiple items will be cancelled/replaced instantly. Like, within a single digit number of seconds. You pretty much get 40% of your order each time. I don't know if it's a bug or they don't feel like pulling 5 items, but it's happened consistently. In fact, we just canceled an order for five basic items because four were out of stock (they say they're out of things like Tito's vodka and La Marca Prosecco, supermarket stock items, on a Saturday night). The huge size of this store has certainly discouraged local competition. I really would love if someone would open up a place bigger than a convenience store/strip mall lot, so we don't need to be sucked into the weird, elaborate world of Total Wine.

This place is simply, amazing! It's a spirits super store. We went in for wine, beer and spirits. We had very specific items in mind. Besides the unbelievable selection, this place is very well staffed. Very helpful friendly people who make it very easy to shop. It could be overwhelming to shop, but the staff make very easy. Kudos to Total Wine & More!

This was my go to place for hard alcohol same day delivery. Yes the delivery and service fees were outrageous but at least I could have it delivered. But now I can't even get it delivered when I was able to before. I'm in Portland.

Honestly, this is your go to place if you want recommendations in all things alcohol related. They have scotch experts, tequila, brandy, etc. And obviously wine connoisseurs. There's a reason why this place has an excellent reputation. They hire people that can actually give a background on all of the products for what you're looking for.
