Always have a good shopping experience at the SE Mill Plain store. However - the Vancouver Mall location leaves little to be desired. It's like they go out of their way to ignore me.

I booked an appointment weeks in advance to have my hair done for my wedding on July19th 2025. After arri ing at the salon I found out my stylist had called out sick. I told the gal helping me at the salon it was my wedding day. She said oh sorry. Not empathetic at all. I said well can you at least try 2 of the other stores in the area ? She agreed and called 2 other stores an neither of them even answered the phone. I left very very disappointed being it was my big dsy :(

courtney has been doing my brows for a while now and i had to show you guys this before and after! as a thin brow lover, it's so difficult to achieve that look while maintaining shape & style when i don't have makeup on, but courtney does a fantastic job every time! before is with no makeup, and photos of them with and without makeup after!

I never write reviews BUT …. I had the most wonderful, kind, great knowledge, about products this little cute blonde Allison I believe her name was ? I’ve shopped here at this location about 2 years and I’ve never had this great of service, she needs to hold a class for other workers in this store this little gal was amazing I’m giving 5 stars because of her thank you Allison for your kind real service.mrs Hart ❤️

I went to Ulta with a very specific purchase in mind as I had already looked online and found the product I wanted to be in stock. But I didn't take note of the brand, nor do I frequent beauty supply stores, so I was going to browse until I found it.
I told the woman who greeted me that I was looking for a salicylic acid serum thinking I would be pointed in the right direction and that would be the end of the interaction. Instead I was passed off to a sales associate to whom I again requested salicylic acid serum or solution. She asked what it was for and I revealed I intended it for my scalp (would she have found my serums if I'd concealed their purpose? Perhaps, but we can't know now). She searched on her device and found that the only salicylic acid products available in the store were like the two pictured from Bondi Boost and Verb, but that there were no serums or solutions.
As the picture shows, I purchased salicylic acid serums which I found on the other side of the store. And at more than half the price.
I'm not shaming the employee, I have every reason to believe she was just doing her job and that if she'd had the knowledge to help me she would have. It is an intentional design by her corporate overlords to manipulate us, the consumers, into spending more money by not informing us of all our options. Consumers be wary, and be informed.

Unfortunately didn’t have the best shopping experience overall in this particular location. Please do better about the customer service , I felt like I was being watched over by an Ulta associate every 3 minutes, especially didn’t like being rushed by an associate either to checkout early in the afternoon. Will not be coming back to this place.

Alice helped me find skincare products for my Eczema today and she was amazing! She was looking up ingredients and comparing products to make sure I bought the right things. I really appreciated that she went the extra mile and I help me.
