I am so dissappointed that I spent the time and energy moving ALL of our business and many of our personal accounts to Columbia Bank only to become Umqua (Five accounts in total, a large undertaking for a business of any size). The frustration that I have with their online banking system is UNPARALLELED. How such a reputable bank can have such an absolute outdated, arduous and user unfriendly online banking system is beyond me. The only reason I am giving 2 stars and not one is because the actual staff in person are lovely, but lovely personalities cannot give me back the hours of time and lost functionality of search reports that we have suffered.

I have been a victim of fraud, harassment, miscalculation, extra interest by Umpqua Bank on my loan. Recently the just did the unthinkable, worst bank ever, on my HELOC account, they sent me duplicate payments statements for the same loan amount, and I had to spend hours trying to resolve. Eventually when they resolved it and asked me to make only 1 payment which I did and after they told me that the other payment is waived, they sent my details to credit agency as DELINQUENCY in payment and hurt my credit score. Worse Bank Ever! They should get 0 star.

I had the worse bank experience with Umpqua bank, Vancouver, WA branch. On my HELOC, when I received the first statement, the interest calculations were wrong. I was being charged 30days interest for 7 days of loan period. Good that I caught it and then raised my concern. It was so messed up that they had to close the account and reopened a new one.

Extremely unhappy with customer service, had to stand outside the locked front door for 20 minutes before someone would let me in. then the clerk was very disrespectful in telling me I could not cash a check a day early like I've done a thousand times, I understand the protocol but the tone was completely uncalled for.. especially when I had been sincere and understanding the whole time...

This is literally the worst Umpqua bank location!! Even pre-Covid it takes up to 10 minutes for someone to come to the window! Now, 1 year into Covid they are only open 1-5pm... I was here at the drive through behind another car, I rolled to the window at 5:01. FIVE O ONE and I just needed to deposit a check and they would not take it! I literally could not deposit it into my account, in their bank! Horrible customer service and my bank accounts will soon find a new home.

So my mother gave me power of attorney and I brought the notorized paperwork to rose at this location by appointment yesterday and she said it was no good and absolutely refused to elaborate so I got new paperwork notorized by a different person and brought that in today and she again said the paperwork was not legal and refused to tell me why. she wouldnt even look at me during this process and insinuated I was a liar and she didnt like me, she said "I dont know you" was one of her comments (which doesnt even make sense) so I called my mother's case manager and explained everything in detail and she told me the paperwork was 100% legal and that rose clearly had a "conflict of interest" and simply was not doing her job. everything about the paperwork was legit from the state attorney who printed it to the notary who looked it over and stamped it.

I have been banking with UMPQUA since it was Sterling Bank. I have had nothing but a very positive experience and an exceptional relationship with this bank. I feel like I am always treated like royalty at this bank and they have constantly gone out of their way for me to make sure they have what I need. Hailey, Michelle, and Heather are amazing employees and are always so friendly and helpful. And of course, Rosie who has been the manager of this branch for decades, is absolutely a top-notch professional in everything she does. Stay away from this bank. I had a CD here with the maturity date was on a Monday a holiday so I came in Tuesday to move the money to the checking account. Instead of them them rolling the CD account into the checking account they instead took a $200 fee. I asked nicely for them to return it they refused to even during covid. The district manager is extremely rude and he does not care about his customers whatsoever. He never return my phone calls. Corporate couldn't be bothered either. Please don't expect them to help you with anything they are just like all the other big banks they don't care about their customers just excising fees from their pockets. Cash grabbing thieves. I left 91 negative yelp reviews. Somehow they managed to remove them all so here I am placing them one more time. So this time I'm leaving 200 reviews for every dollar they took from me.

Customer Service has gone way down hill. Had to call to get someone at the drive thru people waiting over 25 minutes...fresh for everything. Took my mortgage and taking my banking elsewhere. 2.8 rating. I know why. Go elsewhere for your banking needs.

Employees, are very polite, humble and helpful. They asked if I needed help rather than me asking them for help to setup app and online banking.....I thought that was great because I was not going to ask. Also, I felt welcomed.
