Would love to know why they have good ratings. They didn't have a banker in the office so they set up a virtual appointment to set up an account. The time they set it up for came and passed, no phone call. What kind of bank is this? I've never had issues setting up a bank account before. Also, 3 people standing around in there. Yet no one to help me? Weird. Just weird. Bank is built on trust, and this just seemed weird.

Today this location threatened to call the police on me.In April I was scammed by a physical vendor. I reported it right away. Filled out the form. A month later it is rejected. It's my fault I was scammed. The exact wording on the email is "you are responsible for ensuring that what you received is correct." The physical vendor basically pulled a switcheroo on me. Apparently fraud protection is not the same thing as being protected from scams. Even though the VISA website has a guarantee about scams being refunded.I tried resolving this over the phone, but was given the runaround. People re-reading my rejection email back to me. I figured I'd try in person. I became frustrated when they treated me the exact same way in person, basically re-reading the rejection email. It was clear that no one at the physical location made any attempt to escalate my problem. Their only concern was to tell me what I already knew and tell me there's nothing they can do. The woman I spoke with at the end said something "I would never be scammed this way" in a tone I felt was mocking. I said FU. She told me to leave and threatened to call the cops.A curse word and I was threatened with the cops? Should I not curse? Yeah. But you escalate that to calling the cops. That is basically threatening me with physical violence. I did not threaten anyone, I was simply frustrated that you suck at your job.The moral of my story, I guess, is if you get scammed, don't expect Unitus to do anything. And they'll threaten to call the cops if you show up in person to complain.

Skyler gave me detailed directions to setup my online account & how to go paperless. (Great patience, & customer service.)2nd time Skyler helped me deal with a major stressful issue (great patience, P.R., customer service. I don't feel like a number when going to this bank they treat you decent/good like a human/like a friend.) & (i thought I'd have to walk 6 1/2 hours or take a bus & (potentially get lost in scary area like my last bus ride) then walk 3 1/2 hours) to get back, but he & the 2 ladies there got me my 1st Uber & was safely back really quickly & great driving (if i could leave a review for the Uber driver, i would give 10 stars or however many is the maximum amount of stars. Now i will use Uber, without worrying, it's much better than walking & tons better than my experiences with busses.....)This is the bank to do business with.

Things have changed and they are far less responsive with phone service. They are now using contract "employees" who handle simple questions but have to pass you on for a follow up contact, usually a call back.

Please, kindly notify your customers when the ATM is down, as it so frequently is these days. It's quite a long drive for me to come here just to have to drive out to Portland for service. I'll probably just go to the Portland location from now on for ATM transactions. The real shame is that this location is so pleasant. It is clean and modern and the staff are so friendly and great at explaining services.

It’s been a pleasure working with the staff at the Mill Plain branch. Although they seem to have been short-staffed for a while, service has remained consistently satisfactory. It’s a great feeling to know my finances are being managed by an institution I can trust and the people are compassionate. My kind of bank!

I had a very Unprofessional experience with the Branch Manager "Shay". While working the teller line, she was arguing with me about trying to pay off a loan. Mind you I was not at her window and she had a customer of her own. She should have acted more mature and known better than to treat customers that way. I have never had a worst experience and will never bank there again.

I have a loan through unitus and it's been the most chaotic and unpleasant experience. Would give zero stars if I could. The customer service is non existant. The app is worthless. Don't bother calling because they transfer you to an automated service that doesn't do anything. They'll email you telling you that you need to do something but not actually help you. Don't do business with these people. They're the worst!

Came in for the purpose of replacing a debit card and left feeling so cared for! Erin (sp?) was so attentive, patient, and diligent in going out of the way to work through a separate problem I had been facing for months. The whole team was so kind and understanding, going out of their way to help me and make me feel better! Thanks so much all :.)

THIS IS THE DIRTIEST MOST CROOKED BANK I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF KNOWING ABOUT!!!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. The staff, including district/regional managers do not know mortgage laws and REFUSE to assist with a Quitclaim without refinancing the loan, saying that the person who needs to sign it needs to be in person when they moved across the country. LIES. They charge fees in excess of $800 for needing to use the grace period (back in 2020, after just being laid off due to Covid closures) one time. The payment was NOT later than the grace period and there was NO notification of the fees. They frequently suggest that you contact them if you need assistance and then DO NOT ASSIST YOU. I have complained about multiple issues with the app, with charging random fees (including during hardship), with how I am treated there and the best I get is "Good Luck." All of this after being a customer for nearly a decade!!! DO NOT BANK HERE!!! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMNED!!!

I went in to open a new account. Everyone was so friendly and everything was really clean. Crystal set up my account. She was helpful and informational. It felt like she predicted my questions which made everything quick and comfortable. I left feeling like all the boxes were checked which is how you should feel with your money.
