I had a fantastic experience setting up a business checking account for my nonprofit organization this past week. The associate who assisted me, Giselle Peterson, was fantastic. She explained everything to me thoroughly and clearly, she was incredibly friendly and sincere, and she made the who experience very enjoyable and fun. I was shocked that the process took about 90 minutes, because it flew by! That's how easy it was to talk to Giselle. I was kind of dreading getting this taken care of, but it was one of the highlights of my work week. In fact, I am considering moving my personal banking to US Bank now, just because of the service I received from Giselle. You can clearly see how much she loves and is passionate about her job, that is so rare to see nowadays. I truly hope US Bank appreciates her and takes care of her, it is difficult to find such valuable employees.

I have a US Bank mortgage, checking and HELOC account, I can never reach a branch employee by phone I always get a call center in Manila presumably. Answer your phone

Update: they did not give me a full refund for a box I was never able to access, although the teller said that she’d request it from the manager. So they’re thieves as well. I’m sure they think the whole thing is humorous.Poorly managed. As a former employee, I am shocked at the low level of professionalism and accountability at this branch. When I was a personal banker, we bent over backwards for our customers and took ownership of the situation.I opened the largest safe deposit box last week and came in today at 4pm to add my husband, who was with me, and to place items in the box. The teller told me to have a seat and someone would be with me. We sat there for 30 mins before someone came over to tell us that they weren’t sure when they would get to us. We already waited a half an hour as we watched 5 people helped that came in after us. They had 7 people on the floor. Only one window was occupied and one personal banker was busy. That’s 5/7 people available. Absolutely unacceptable.Looking through the canned responses that this branch manager gives to its customer reviews, I don’t really expect them to try and retain my account. I will be coming in to close my empty box (because I was never able to even put anything in it) in the morning. I expect a full refund due to not being able to access my box in an acceptable timeframe.

Called to make an international wire transfer over the phone due to being out of the country, the branch manager informed me that I had to call 24hr banking (I’m sure she just didn’t feel like doing it or was busy with other things). I called them and I was informed that International wire transfers are still done through the branch. I called another branch and was helped properly by another branch’s manager.

Slowest bank I've ever been to, stood in line 10 minutes and it took another 5 minutes to get my money. Use the ATM and save yourself the hassle.

They are happy to take your check, put a hold on it, deny check clearance against it, put you on hold, cut you off. Then transfer to Branch manager Tina Nguyen who wants “Customer service” to help explain why. Terrible fiduciary and professionalism, beware.
