Came to Walmart to check out some equipment we needed for work. Found exactly what I wanted, then stepped outside to the parking lot to wait for my coworker, who was on the way — we planned to buy it together.
While standing calmly near my truck, not blocking anything or bothering anyone, a security guard told me I “can’t just stand here.”
I told her straight up that I’m a Walmart customer planning to buy a lot of equipment, and that I’m not homeless or hanging around — just waiting briefly and definitely not planning to sleep here.
Still, she insisted I leave.
So I left — took my business elsewhere, where customers are treated like customers, not problems to be moved along.
If Walmart wants to lose paying customers by treating them like trespassers in their own parking lot, they’re doing a great job.

This isn't a superstore but it's the OG of Walmart's for me. Not as crowded as MP or Fisher's Landing/192nd Av. Not much for groceries but they had enough. Still treat everyone like a thief, but with the theft problem in America who can blame them for locking everything up!! Still isn't the way I'd like it to be, but it's clean and the people are nice

I was very impressed with the selection, prices, quality, prices, cleanliness and service. I found a bathing suit that not only fit me well, but is also of unexpected quality! I found every single item on my recent shopping lists, including several different options for something as simple as earring back replacements! And I picked up a package of 3 delicious, dark chocolate chunk cookies, for a very low price, on the way to the register, that satisfied my craving for chocolate chip cookies without splurging on a whole package of them!

Things in Walmart are overpriced. Ppl shop in Walmart for the price is cheaper than the other stores.

Got kicked out for bouncing a ball 2 times, wasn’t disruptive or rude to anyone and wasn’t complained about. Employee Mike didn’t allow me to spend my money on the things I wanted to buy because he didn’t like 3 young guys playing with a ball a little. I’d understand if we were being genuinely disruptive but we kept to ourselves and did our shopping. Sad soul
