What a place to be proud to work at! I have been with Touchmark at Fairway Village for more than 10 years as the Life Enrichment Director. I never ever worked anywhere for nearly this long. I must like it!There are many reasons I call this place home away from home. The work environment is genuine, friendly, warm and supportive and we always strive to deliver excellence. There is a common sense of pride in the work we do.A true love of mine is inviting residents to share their passions, skills, hobbies and abilities within the community. This has created the unique programming here based on the people that live here. It seems to be ever-evolving and that excites me!Yep, I absolutely recommend working here and even more, recommend bringing your loved ones to join the Touchmark family. This is such a special place! That is why I stay.

We moved my grandparents in here last year and we couldn’t be happier. The freedom and happiness it has brought to them is priceless. The facility is so beautiful and clean and you can tell that all of the staff members are happy to be there and genuinely care about each other and all of the residents. Would highly recommend!

This is a GORGEOUS facility with employees that actually really care about the residents. The director is so knowledgeable and knows every resident by name. We placed our parents here last year and the change in their well being and quality of life has changed so dramatically! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for somewhere for their loved ones to have their best life in their senior years.

Touchmark Village Loop is a truly special place. My wife and I were looking for an assisted living facility that was close to our home, as well as a facility we could trust to care for my father in law. From our first tour of the Touchmark Village Loop campus; to our final walkthrough after my father in laws passing. Touchmark has always exhibited a genuine feeling of welcome, which was displayed by their unparalleled staff. From the front desk staff members, kitchen/dinning staff, house cleaning staff, nursing staff, activities staff, health/beauty staff, to the administrative staff….everyone is outstanding! But my late father in law would say Touchmark had the best milkshakes in town, and he was a milkshake connoisseur.Thank you Touchmark Village Loop, my family and I will sing your praises to everyone!

Touchmark is the best place I've ever worked. I'm proud to be part of the Touchmark family. I feel supported and loved by team members and residents alike. Touchmark's values are embodied by every person I encounter.

This is long, but I want to write an honest review. I recently moved my mother out of Touchmark’s memory care.In my opinion, Touchmark is geared towards retirees and people that need assisted living. The staff is friendly and very kind. The place is lovely. But for those that require memory care, TM COMPLETELY misses the mark. For all the money TM charges, they could and should do so much better for their memory care residents. Their memory care grossly lacks mental and emotional stimulation, physical activity and life enrichment. My mother was allowed to self-isolate, which I believe aided in her confusion, emotional, mental and physical decline; that I thought was the progression of dementia. I was wrong. In just 3 weeks at her new place, my mother is flourishing. She has made friends; she’s not complaining, angry, suspicious or anxious. She’s not nearly as confused. Her level of fitness has improved. She participates in several activities offered daily, including appropriate physical fitness. Because of the mental and emotional stimulation she is happier, she remembers the names of other residents. She changes her clothes and grooms herself because she has activities to go to daily. Because of the appropriate physical fitness, she has improved physically. This was my expectations of TM that she did not get. She is a totally different person at her new place, because of their level of care and involvement, than she was at TM.While at TM, her room was next to an exterior door that led to a secure courtyard. This door was locked and alarmed. In winter, residents were not allowed outside, which makes sense, so the door stayed locked, but the alarm was not disconnected. Several times a day, residents would try to open the door setting off the alarm; and she’d have to listen to this alarm going off for 10 or more minutes multiple times a day before anyone responded. My mom used a Facebook Portal for us to communicate and I would hear this alarm going off. An alarm should be checked immediately, and my mom should not have to listen to this all day long. Why not disarm the alarm during winter months since the door stays locked? At one point I called the front desk from home, 25 minutes away, with my mom still on the Facebook Portal and asked the receptionist if someone could check and reset the alarm. I was still talking with my mom when it took another 5-7 minutes for the alarm to be reset. Two days later I was visiting, and that door was alarming again for no less than 10 minutes before someone checked and reset it. This was a daily occurrence. On the last day I packed up my mother’s things, I went to leave and was having trouble with the new keypad. I wasn’t able to get it to work. I went to ask someone for help, but realized at that moment, there was no staff member available to help me. If there wasn’t anyone available to help ME, there wasn’t one available to help a resident either. Maybe that’s why the door alarms for so long before being checked and reset? Also, TM steadily increased their prices. We started at just over 6K a month with a one month move in discount (for the first month in assisted living) to just under 9K in memory care in about 3 years! But my mother’s level of care never increased from day 1 in memory care. She is reasonably self-sufficient and spent almost 22 hours a day in her room. At almost 9K I just wasn’t seeing what she was paying for. That price should afford her a lot more than she got. I thought TM was the best there was (5-stars at the time) I was afraid if I moved her, it would be to some place that would cost less, but also offer less care. I was wrong. Though I never met an employee at TM that had a bad attitude or wasn’t pleasant, I am glad I moved my mother OUT of Touchmark’s memory care. There are better places out there for people that require memory care that offer mental, emotional stimulation, physical activity and life enrichment for far less $$ than TM. I found a place that offers all of that, so I moved my mother out of Touchmark.

I have worked for Touchmark for over 6 months and it is hands the best job I have ever had! The continuous support I receive from everyone is incredible. I truly can't see myself working anywhere else. Between the residents and the whole Touchmark team, it makes the job fun, positive, engaging and makes you feel like your a part of one big wonderful family. I was asked once how many times I have thought about looking for a new job and the honest answer is never. I don't think I could find a job and co-workers that I love more than Touchmark. I am so thankful Touchmark took a chance on a new nurse and hired me. Thank you! <3 <3 <3

Easily the worst place I've ever worked for. I received no training for anything and the managers expected staff who had only worked here a month to train me. Considering how much they charge their residents for everything, you'd think they'd have proper training for new hires and pay their staff a livable wage, but they don't.

I have been an employee at touchmark for 2 months. I can truly say the residents and staff are amazing here. The first time I walked through the doors I've had nothing but positive interactions with staff , residents ,and families. Ashley B is truly an amazing supervisor, she and Morgan made me feel so welcomed at touchmark from when I first walked in the front doors for orientation! Touchmark is truly a great family to be part of , and I would ? percent feel very comfortable in putting my loved ones here, and or referring people to work / live at touchmark. Huge Thanks again to Ashley B and Morgan for making me feel apart of the touchmark family.

My mom is at the Touchmark at Fairway Village. Touchmark is a huge corporation, and likely uses a uniform contract. Do not sign the forced arbitration clause when signing the contract. Forced arbitration favors the corporations who hire them. It usually costs hundreds of dollars per hour plus fees. They have you sign your rights away when signing the contact to delay the process and void the time period in which you can file a lawsuit. They don't duly inform you of arbitration terms, so read carefully. Another evil corporation that preys on the vulnerable, and uses stall tactics and a contract to act with legal impunity. Touchmark makes little and glaringly big mistakes that have truly shocking consequences. Do not come here if you need medication, as they lose it without telling you. They lost four of my mom's medications for a long period of time, without saying anything, while being paid for medication management. Six medications should have been refilled, her heart medication was expired, and they did not refill it. If anything bad happens when you don't have your medication, good luck. Ironically, generally nice, pleasant atmosphere. Flawed corporate policies, or simply piss poor follow through. Understaffed. My mom waits 30 minutes when she pushes the emergency button. One time they made an excuse for delay, and then never returned. Twice last week she waited for an hour. A little like living with "big brother" watching you. Condescending attitude. Touchmark treats some residents like children. The older and more vulnerable you are, the worse it gets. Exorbitant prices. $412/mo. for medication given twice a day. Touchmark's sales team quoted 1 care point $103 for medication management, which is incorrect. Touchmark uses personal, sensitive information against you. Touchmark uses a lot of cya without a real apology for obvious mistakes, negligence and incompetence. They like to have residents' families solve their problems for them, all the while they are still getting paid a premium price for shoddy, downright mediocre service. This is the place to go if you have an ex-husband or ex-wife you want influencing and affecting your careteam, and the way the care team treats you. They take advantage of residents' vulnerabilities in order to achieve their means of over-priced mediocre care. Beware. They spike the care costs for any gels or creams to over $1,000+ a month. Ask your doctor before coming here for a moratorium on any alternative medication formats. They insist on holding and distributing your pain pills. An aesthetically pleasing environment in which to experience exponential price increases in your most vulnerable years. Akin to a 5 star hotel with thorns in the bed, sends you to the hospital, that made you sign a waiver of liability and 50% forced gratuity. Corporate greed is king here.

I was aquatinted with the Touchmark prior to its thorough renovation. Now that the process inside the assisted living and independent living is finished, I really enjoyed touring the completed facility. The wide well lit hallways are very pleasant and enhanced with resident's entry display shelves. What a nice touch to connect with each resident visually as one moves between the entrance, the dining room and gathering hall on the first floor. This sense of community continues on the second and third floors with sensory delights in all the common spaces. Thank you, Becky Reins, for all your help with touring the facility and wait listing our relative and friends from Fairway Village who have chosen Touchmark as their next residence.

I can't say enough about how much I appreciate the team members that help my Mother at Touchmark. She moved to Touchmark in the middle of the pandemic, and I couldn't visit her there at first, but the people there really made her transition so much easier. They are so kind, patient and helpful, and I really trust them so much. Always lots of activities there and they really make a huge effort to go the extra mile in so many ways. Thank you Touchmark !

Beautiful common areas and apartments. According to my mother the kitchen (accuracy and food prep/menu selection) is quite lacking. Staff at the fitness center, concierge, front desk, coffee bar and housekeeping are great. Some of the “small item” charges are a bit out of hand however.

I have been so impressed with the nursing and just as important how friendly everyone is. My mom just loves everybody there. She’s a pretty tough customer to. So that says a lot!
