Absolute nightmare of a pharmacy. My dog has had health issues and it has gotten incredibly expensive. I got a prescription from my vet for two inhalers for her. After my vet visit she emailed them to me. The prescription included her license number and everything. I went to Safeway and as soon as the pharmacist saw my prescription she said she couldn't except them because they didn't have a "wet signature" I had my vet then call in the prescriptions. I found two coupon on good RX that cut the price down around $40 but they were still going to be over $300. I called this Safeway Pharmacy to check on the prescription and they wouldn't answer so I had to leave a message. 24 hours later no returned call. I called again the next morning. Same thing no answer and no call back after leaving a message. I called the customer service about 4 hours later told them I wasn't getting an answer the woman made some excuse about there only being two people. (Still not buying they are too busy to call back after two days) she patched me through and I left another message. Next day still no answer. I then called my vet to make sure they called in the prescription and they verified they did and offered to call the pharmacy for me. Less than an hour later I started getting texts that the prescription was ready. So apparently they got the prescription and just sat on it for several days. My husband went in to get the prescription and was told the coupons from good RX didn't work. They are obligated to use these and refused to call the number provided for additional instructions. So here I sit with a sick dog having breathing problems because these horrible pharmacy techs refuse to help and can't be bothered to call back. Horrible experience. This guy in the pharmacy is not only lazy but on some kind of power trip. He should not be working in the medical field.

Pharmacy Lady needs to take the stick out of her a*** Nobody in line but me and she is cutting me off with rude tone and roles her eyes. Not professional. Someone better straighten that girl up, I've worked at woodland safeway for a couple years and my manager wouldn't put up with that, ever heard of customers first? Sorry hunny but those fried blonde ends aren't doing you any justice.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I stood at customer service for 10 minutes before I went and asked. Then waited another 5-7 minutes before someone showed up. The lady cashier I asked to call someone didn't even look up to acknowledge me, the customer she was dealing with told me she would call someone. Not my first time having a bad experience here. Just had so much time to write a Yelp. While I was waiting the Employee of the month rudely interrupted the associate that was speaking to me. Just overall bad customer service.

Lovely Lady was helping me get warm food and her co-worker was in such a rush because he can't manage his time correctly and raised his voice at the lady in front of me. I should have smacked that bi*ch across his face. I told the lady to not allow him to speak like that to her. Dude thinks he is tough but in reality he is a little pus$y and should get fired

Follow up to the prior, just too many errors in the checkout, and virtually 100% in favor of the store. Marked 20% ground beef @ $2.58 in the "Just 4 U" website, but got charged $4.49 on 8/9/21. When brought it up was told only the 93% was on sale and I was wrong. Went home, printed out the page, walked up to customer service counter and waited 10 minutes with no help, a tall blonde woman watching the self checkout totally ignored me. Last months they had pork chops on sale using the club card at $1.79/pound, but was charged about $2.99 (same woman by the way who just told me I was wrong), none of the packs were marked correctly (had to go back and get about a $12 refund from someone who actually listened). Wonder about all the people who are being overcharged and not checking their receipts. Seems like at least 2 errors a month. I never seem to have a bad ring up at Winco or Fred Meyer.

If you days ago I picked up the very largest liquid detergent, five of them, and I went to the self check out. I didn't really think anything about the fact that they were heavy and I would have to lift them up to get scanned. Probably because when I go to Fred Meyer they scan anything that I have a lot of or that's too heavy for me to lift. But at Safeway the woman said this is self check out you have to slip them up and scan them yourself. I am 70 years old and I am definitely going to try very hard not to go back to the Safeway again. I have vacillating back-and-forth between Safeway and Fred Meyer because they're around the same location. This has definitely decided that for me. I have had other issues in the past where the people that pick up groceries for home delivery pretty much take over the aisle and I items

Stopped in here a few times to just grab a handful of items for dinner. Hot, hot, hot today so we just wanted stuff from the deli. I guess it was $5 Friday so deli turkey and provolone was on sale....SOLD! They do carry decent products but they're stupidly expensive! Recently was on California coast and those stores were better as far as the deli went. Pleasant staff.

I have always shopped Safeway. I like their product quality and store layout. I recently decided to try their delivery service. I spent just over $180. The first delivery was incomplete, missing 14 of my 40 items. I had to jump through hoops to get the rest scheduled for delivery, in two days. Tonight that second delivery came. It contained only 7 of the 14 items I was missing, and they made bad exchanges: a large box of dish washer pods ($10) for a bottle of cheap liquid ($4), etc. I will shop in their store, but I will never use they delivery or curb-side. I am out $40 and do not have the patience to fight for every last item I ordered.

Tried Grocery pick up at Salmon Creek and waited 1.5 hours, got home and found only received half the order. After a couple of attempts at pick up, tried delivery. For most of the times over the years, Delivery is great. When things go wrong though, it's a nightmare getting help. When an order is not delivered because of some issue on delivery's end, getting a refund is a multiple phone call ordeal with all kinds of shady actions from Safeway. Calling with results such as "we never received a call asking for a refund" and then others calls saying similar gaslighting things. If the driver doesn't get all your items off the truck, look forward to days of issues. If things go great like most the time, it's the best service, but when it goes wrong, none of it is worth it. Go to Freddy's pick up, never a price change or waiting.

A store that has to be avoided due to the worst people that works there from manager to sale associates to supervisor.. extremely unprofessional, rude, racist !! Never step foot there again and maybe boycotting Safeway for that matter..I don't know why Starbucks are doing business with this company that treat customers the way we are treated not once not twice but multiple times !!They hire young people with no experience in customer service, no training, no manners and they are proud to call them Safeway employee !! Starbucks should know what's going on otherwise they will loose a bunch of customers and it will tarnish Starbucks reputation.

Took the store over one hour to bring my curbside pick up groceries to my truck. If you can't hire enough people to do the deliveries, don't schedule that many pick ups at once. I could've shopped three times in the amount of time I sat in my truck waiting. Horrible service. Drive and wait, not drive a go.

Very interesting experience at Safeway today this is my neighborhood market and my go to place for a lot of foodWent to the checkout line where there was one person ahead of me just finishing up I just had one item it was a 24 pack of Dasani water Derek who I found out later was the manager looked at me in the eye and said I'm closed I said Derrick I have one item there's no close sign on your aisle, I'm asking you to ring me out..He flat out refused he said something about not doing it and I told him that I was unhappy with his decision...I normally would let this go but since he's the manager and he set a very bad example for the people around him I thought it was important to mention it !I'm not surprised by the low rating the store has if Derek is an example of the management on staff I think it's time to clean house I certainly wouldn't wanna work for this kind of manager and I'm gonna start shopping at a different store, Freddys will be nicer.I hope this is not a reflection on the entire crew because my general experience with the people there has been superb I specially wanna give a shout out to Kathy who is always been very friendly and sweet to me and all the customersMaybe Kathy should be the manager and Derek should work for herOf course if Kathy is as good a manager is I think she would be the first thing she would do it was probably Fire Derrick(Ouch!!)

Worst service ever. Stood behind a customer for over 10 mins while we waited for a manager to do an adjustment. I actually wouldn't even rate it a 1 Star.
