“Very well blended mix of antique, thrift, and reuse supplies. Very pleasant atmosphere and super friendly employees. Not the best for clothes, but a well done shop.”
“They really remind me why I shop small with businesses when I get a chance. They have the cutest clothes and houseware pieces. I also got a straw and I broke it, and they were so kind they gave me a replacement and wrapped it up triple this time. I really recommend if you’re in the area go visit them you won’t be disappointed.”
“I love this shop, the owner and the staff are super easy to work with and are helpful, everything is clean, and there is always really fun and interesting inventory. I have consigned here, and had nothing but good experiences and great communication with the owner, and her taste in inventory is excellent with a great variety of clothes and accessories from different eras.”
“Madsen Modern is undoubtedly the best mid-century furniture expert in the state. We have been clients of Brandon and Brian for nearly six years. In that time our business with them has included purchase of six pieces of furniture, sale via consignment, furniture repair and restoration. We are lucky enough to be local in Seattle so have had the extraordinary pleasure of seeing their fantastic workshop. Their museum-like space has amazing furniture in all states of renewal. But even more special is working with them both in person. They are the nicest guys you’ll meet. Honest, kind, and helpful. I love hearing them geek out on mid-century furniture! We’ve seen them work magic on teak that looks ruined. They are great at predicting what they can do and to what degree they can fix a piece. Their prices are exceedingly fair. Prices of quality mid-century furniture on many online shops have become eye watering. We’ve been able to get both quality work and a fair price with them. Mid-century furniture holds its value and lasts if you take care of it. We find our purchases from Madsen Modern to be an investment.”
“I had the spring snap on my garage door, rendering it inoperable. Our car was trapped inside the garage and the door was just too heavy to lift. I called Cressy door and they had someone out the next morning. Bernie was very knowledgeable and professional and made quick work to get the spring replaced. He also lubed and adjusted the door and it’s working better than ever. Great service and an honest company. They gave me a quote when I called and it was spot on. I highly recommend this company.”
“I was so tired of picking out shoes for my kid, and having him reject them after a couple wears—even when we tried them on in the big box stores! An employee at this shop was so helpful in walking my neurodivergent kid through all his options, and answered his questions and also pointed out what was on sale. We found a great pair and he loves them, even calls them his lucky sandals. 100% will shop here for my kids footwear from now on.”
“First visit to Lander Street Vintage since all the Epic Antique folks moved over. It's even better (if that could be possible!). I hesitate to give it a rave review because it's been my little secret, just around the corner from fancy Starbucks ( in the bottom of the corporate building). It's a perfect place to roam while sipping your wonderfully crafted latte and unearthing treasures. I've found Dorothy Thorpe bar ware, vintage Hawaiian shirts, iitaala glassware, Murano bowls, Craftsman furniture and fine studio pottery....it's all here.”
“After not shopping here for 5 years, I stopped in & was greeted by the nicest employee ever. I had questions about a baby carrier, and they jumped in to help me right away. Now of course we have the best baby carrier, for such a good price. Definitely will be back!”
“always enjoy stopping in this shop and seeing what they have! the volunteers are usually really nice and I almost always find at least one thing to take home! also think it’s cool that the shop supports the ACS.”
“The environment, the clothes, the workers. Everything about this place was incredible, top notch for sure. If I lived in Seattle, this would be my go-to shop I swear. Next time in Seattle, I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“Cherry Consignment is a gem in West Seattle. Great selection of clothes and accessories, all the brands you're looking for at excellent prices. And the owner, Nyla is so friendly and helpful.”
“Had a great experience and purchased cross country touring boots for a crazy deal! The salesperson was super informative and took the time to thoroughly answer my questions too, thanks!”
“Lander Street Vintage Is the best antique mall in the state of Washington! It has everything imaginable— fine antiques, jewelry,, Furniture, collectibles , clothes and anything you could possibly want. The owner Tom is extremely knowledgeable and has created a magnificent shopping experience!”
“This place is cute and feels like somewhere I can actually bring my kid to. We like to come here to pick out a new-to-us toy and see what other treasures we can find.”
“A large selection of clothing for babies & older kids. Prices are good. Also lots of strollers & high chairs. A bit too much clothing on some racks. Open 7 days a week from 10-6 which is convenient for working mama's.”
“I shopped at Heaven Sent in the 90s when my boys were little and I'm back shopping at Heaven Sent for my grandkids. I always find a variety of things when I visit, from shoes to cute clothes to toys and for great prices. Every Friday is Grandparents day and I appreciate the 20% off on Grandparent Fridays.”
“As a frequent price checker/nose wrinkl-er it is frankly a breathe of fresh air to shop at a boutique WHICH SELLS PIECE AT A PERCENTAGE OF THEIR OR RETAIL PRICE. Their selection is also marvelous and I truly feel that anyone could find smth they love.”
“Great variety of goods at fair prices. a
They also wrapped my antique wood cabinet in plastic so it wouldn’t get scratches on it when I put it in my car.”
