Derek is an amazing guy to do business with! He is patient, kind, professional and honest. This was the first encounter with Derek but how he treats and talks to you it feels like I had known him for years. The crew at a cut above are very nice and welcoming as well!
I went to have my AC replaced having an idea of what was wrong with it. Not only did he confirm I was right, he talked to me about what else needed to be replaced (everything went wrong with the ac, it was a MESS!) he communicated thoroughly without making me feel like an idiot and he even let me be out there under the hood watching and answering any questions I had about the process he was taking to diagnose the problem(s). Derek and his wife (a lovely lady!) also came and picked me up to get to my car, the attention to customer service and satisfaction doesn’t run out with this guy. His pricing was beyond fair and even after he fixed it and it went out he still took the time to fix it yet again and put in the new part with no additional charge.
I now have AC running COLD through my car, my kiddos and I can now enjoy doing errands and going to work again without feeling like we’re in the pits of hell. I will definitely continue to do business with Derek and the crew at A Cut Above, thank you so much!

I have no knowledge AC systems. The owner was kind enough to explain me about AC HIGH ( i think it is correct word for that) that was designed to pop off to prevent damage to ac lines. I am extremely grateful for kindly guys there.

3 years ago Derek and his team did an outstanding job of ceramic coating our black ZO6 corvette. I had a few water spots that wouldn't come off due to my fault, took it in and he did an acid wash and got them all cleared up. He noticed where the car cover was rubbing, polished it up and even spent about a half an hour cutting and polishing the splitter from a scratch that I made. The commitment to customer service and the need to have your vehicle roll out the doors as one of his own is beyond amazing. Can't thank them enough for the love and attention to detail they put into the end product. Thank you!

Ive had my car cleaned here for years. They’ve always done just great. Even when I had a rats nest under my seat, they didn’t send me away. ;) I wish them the best.

This is the worst company in walla walla,if you have a gift certificate they don't want to deal with you, they will put you off forever, waiting 4 months.

I have used A Cut Above a couple times now. The first time they detailed an SUV for me. It was spotless inside and out - all the way from the vents and the wheel wells. I also used them to get a sticky spill out of my car carpet. They were very thorough, making sure they knew what was spilled so it was properly cleaned and neutralized. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I took my jeep to get rhino lined inside and detailed. Very unhappy with my “detail” and rhino lining. When I picked up the jeep. Cup holders were not cleaned. Some dog hair on the seats that were not vacuumed. Seats were not wiped down. Then the Rhino lining was not covering all the spots in the interior of the jeep. When I told him in person I was not happy about the job done. He told me to bring it back so he could correct it. Then explained to me that those are difficult spots to get ( which I completely understand ) Then he said he would have to gut the jeep to do the job correctly and wanted to charge. He knew that I wanted everything covered to begin with… I explained to him this was going to be the final look. He used a different spay(not rhino lining to cover up the spots missed) on top of all this. He didn’t clean the car before spraying. Just sprayed over dirt and debri.

My $1200 Ceramic coating job was rushed and never fully completed. story changed each time I spoke with them and owner promised to personally re-do the job...then never called or heard back from them again. I was charged premium prices and recieved a bargain basement job/service. Would not use their services again.

I would never use this business personally, I used to work for this company and I don't understand how it is still running.He has so many lawsuits against him and I know the shady business practices that he uses. Before I was illegally let go ,he had people straight out of prison working for him.I didn't know if they were sexual offenders or what.I know for a fact that there's a lot of other people in Walla Walla that would agree with me on his business practices.I'm embarrassed that ever I worked there but,it's hard to find a job when you struggle with Epilepsy.Go to Tuxedo Auto detailing if you want a honest job done and a job done right!

First off they seem like nice people, they detailed my car and did a very nice job BUT! I took my rv to them and they couldn't have done a worse job. At first glance it looked ok but when we took it out camping there was dust and mouse crap in drawers ,and in the pull out bed, the carpet was dirty I'm places, I had to vacuum and clean myself. It's not that they didn't do it it was just a very substandard job, not one you would-expect from a place that calls them self a cut above. And not worth the $1000 I payed. Based on my experience i would not use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone, in fairness I should call and complain, but even if they wanted to make thing right, I shouldn't have to nor do I trust them to do any better. I hope this review helps someone
