Advantagecom used to be a top notch operation. They're apparently under new ownership or management and are very much not the same company they used to be. I'm not sure if they're incompetent or genuinely just don't care in serving their customers - maybe both. Either way, after more than a decade I'm done and won't ever be going back.

Wish I could give zero stars. Was a customer for 16 years. They moved the colocation center and neglected to notify us and then didn't bother to take our server to their new colocation center. Knocked my companies online services off-line for days and days.They treated the issue with such disregard and lack of professionalism that I don't see how anyone would ever deal with this company. How does a company that is supposed to take care of my server move and leave the server in the old location and then not bother to do anything to try to fix it for days at a time? Stay away.

I have been using their services when the Internet was really small before the turn of the millennium. As far as Internet service providers go they are a small, but a very reliable company. My requirements are modest and they have been very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend using smaller family-run businesses rather than huge mega-corporations whenever possible.

Been a customer since 2003. The few network outages have been due to circumstances far beyond their control. The very few system outages have been due to redundant equipment failing unexpectedly. They always post problem resolution updates on their forum so we customers can always know what's wrong and when we might reasonably expect service to be restored. They quash spam pretty quickly when gerenated from their customers' VPSen. I have never been dissatisfied with their products or services.
