Made an appointment to drop a car off for diagnostic 24 hours in advance. Rented car dolly and paid to have it transproted to his business only for him to tell me he doesn't have time today and there isn't anywhere I can park my car. He suggested I try again in 3 days since they are closed fri sat and sun. Out 55 bux for the rental and the time and gas I used. Avoid this place. Go to aamco in Kennewick.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Went there for the first time to figure an issue on the transmission, they couldn't figure it out and recommend a new transmission instead. Steve was quick to get rid of me over the phone and even in person. I understand the busy work life, but in a business, customer value is key for a long lasting business. They promised to get back back me with quotes but never did. Their word is not their bond. Won't come here again. Save your money people.

The best. If Steve tells you that there is a problem or that this is what should be done, do not second quest him. If you do it will cost you more.

They installed a new transmission in my F-150. They provided timely service and updates, and they thoroughly explained the process, even allowing me to see and take photos of the defective parts to submit to the manufacturer. They also did a free check after 500 miles to ensure the quality of their repairs.

I took my car into Argos after another mechanic was unable to "get a code" to fix my slipping transmission. I was told over the phone that "general mechanics don't know how to pull the code like a transmission specialist would" and that they "could force the code" so I decided to trust the expert. The man at the desk was very nice and I was told almost immediately (before even looking at my car) it was probably a grounding wire issue and they would call me with a quote for the fix and an over sure transmission flush. I was later called and told they would need the car overnight for repairs and they believed it would be around $350-$400. The next day I was called and told they needed to do 3 flushes and the grounding wire stuff so the total would be closer to $450 or $500 on the high end. When I was finally able to pick up the car the total was $612. I was fine with that as long as the car was fixed even though it was $100+ over what I was quoted last. THE NEXT DAY the transmission slipped again. Argos was closed for a long weekend so I wasn't able to bring my car back until the following Tuesday. That weekend it happened 4 more times... nothing was fixed or even improved so I don't know what the grounding wire work was for. Upon taking the car back my husband was told point blank that they "don't know what is wrong with the car." Awesome. He was told the they were going to "call a friend on the east coast who specializes in Mazda transmissions and see what he suggests". Why wasn't that done in the first place? I don't know. Frustrated, I googled the issue myself and found a few possible solutions. I called the closest Mazda deal ship to get information about what it might be and a quote for a fix. A week goes by and the issue is getting worse and we still haven't heard back from Argos. I finally call and the guy basically admits to consulting a chat room for car repairs and found the same information I did. Not what I would expect from a specialist. At that point I lost all confidence in Argos and their ability to accurately fix the issue without wasting more of my time and money on failed fixes. I will give Argos two stars because the guy at the front desk was nice, even if this was the worlds most expensive transmission flush.

I dont know why Edward Lee is complaining as we replaced his thermostat housing 1/15/19 and never heard back from him till 5/7/19 when he said transmission was not shifting in which we Scanned his vehicle and did not find anything on the transmission but gave him a estimate on a radiator repair but did not want to do it at that time. We charged him $89.95 for the scan and a $25.00 coolant pressure check. He mention that he could put in his own radiator and we never heard back from him till this complaint, Do not know if he drove it to long with radiator leaking or what. Wish we would of heard about this as we are here to help people and trying to keep there repair bills at a minimum to help them out. We Never heard back from him ever so knew nothing about this till a customer mention it to me and said something did not sound right as I have been working on there vehicles for 30 years.. Sorry for the conflict and we are to help people not sell everything under the sun! We have been in business for 39 year and have built a trust with our community and thank everyone who has done business with us and making our business welcome in Walla Walla our home town
