About Blue Mountain Humane Society

Blue Mountain Humane Society is a no-kill animal shelter serving the Walla Walla Valley since 1967. We provide pet adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services, and community education to promote responsible pet ownership. Our mission is to promote kindness, prevent cruelty, and strengthen the human-animal bond. Open hours are Tuesday–Friday from 12–6 p.m. and Saturday from 12–4 p.m.

    I have fostered & adopted from BMHS. The pets are altered to prevent unwanted litters and they are chipped in case they escape they can be easily returned to their owner when found. I highly recommend adopting over buying from a Breeder. Please also consider donating and volunteering. 🙏🐾

    This place is great. We went just to look at the animals. We were a little late but they still let us see the kittens. Just looking turned into getting a cat. She is an awesome cat. The people really love animals and you can tell.
