About Blue Mountain Humane Society
Blue Mountain Humine Society is a no-kill animal shelter serving the Walla Walla Valley. It is a great place where the people really love animals and you can tell. The employees work tirelessly to rehabilitate and rehome animals. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to be helpful, and the volunteers are great. The facility is well maintained and very clean. They take care of their animals to the best of their ability and are always looking to improve. They provide an enriching place for their animals; it is not animal storage. They have several cat rooms where you can go in and visit. The adoption fee is quite reasonable and they spay and neuter all the animals. The experience for adoption couldn't have been better. The community is thankful to have it and should support it with donations or volunteer time.

I have fostered & adopted from BMHS. The pets are altered to prevent unwanted litters and they are chipped in case they escape they can be easily returned to their owner when found. I highly recommend adopting over buying from a Breeder. Please also consider donating and volunteering. 🙏🐾

This place is great. We went just to look at the animals. We were a little late but they still let us see the kittens. Just looking turned into getting a cat. She is an awesome cat. The people really love animals and you can tell.
