We love Luttrells. Great service, very knowledgeable, honest, and a great value. I called to make an appointment for a diagnostic and was given something to check myself. With their help I was able to correct the problem. I feel like a lesser place would have let me bring the car in and charge me for the diagnostic. We have used Luttrells many times for car repairs and this is just another example of why we keep coming back. 5 stars, A+

CONSUMER BEWARE: I will never go back to Luttrell's. I took my 2006 Lexus in to repair my faltering air conditioner. At the outset I told the person at the desk that I had a check engine light for a code indicating that the evaporative fuel system had a leak. I told him that if the code (P1420) was still the same to do nothing further. After a few hours, I received a call from the same person indicating that I needed a new air conditioner compressor and that there was a small leak from the condenser. When I picked up my car, I was billed a total of $166.62 even though no repairs were performed. $75+ was for looking at the check engine light. The code, which was the one I told them about, was not even erased. I am no mechanic and, in fact, I have very limited mechanical ability. However, it is very easy to check these codes and erase them. I took my cheap code checking device from AutoZone and timed how long it took me to plug it in, read the instructions, and erase the code. It took me 3 minutes. At the rate Luttrell's charged me that is the equivalent of $1500 per hour. What a joke. If I had been told I would be charged $75 plus tax to look at the engine light code, I would have declined. If the cause of the check engine light had been diagnosed, I wouldn't have a complaint. However, in my experience a reputable company would not have charged anything for such a minor task as checking an engine light code and doing nothing more. I had no problem paying the cost of diagnosing the problem with my air conditioner. However, the estimated cost of repairing my air conditioner was $4500+. I decided not to authorize the repair. I then went online to get an estimate of the cost to replace the compressor. According to one site, the estimated cost for our area was around $2200 for the compressor. Assuming the condenser was included in this estimate, that would cost another $800 for a total of $3000. repairpal.com/estimator/…. Another website estimated the cost at $2400 for the compressor and $725 for the condenser for a total of $3125. yourmechanic.com/estimat…. Draw your own conclusion whether you should trust Lutrell's estimate, which was roughly $1400 higher that the second estimate. So end the end, I was charged a total of $166.62 for "diagnostic" work, which included $3 for undifferentiated "shop supplies". While repair shops vary, I would note that I recently had my Toyota pickup serviced at Master Auto Service down the road from Luttrell's and the total cost was $200 below the RepairPal website estimated cost for the work that was performed. If that shop worked on hybrids, I would go back there in an instant. I will never step foot in Lutrell's again.

So pleased with the service at Luttrell's. Brought vehicle in due to issue with windshield wipers. I am convinced that most other shops would have found a way to bill me extravagantly for the repair (dealerships I'm looking at you...). Luttrell's fixed the issue at a very reasonable cost, and were very courteous throughout the process.Service: Auto maintenance

They did a great job fixing our car. I wasn't told about the 2 year 24,000 mile warranty but glad to know that it is in place with these guys.

I could not be more THRILLED with Luttrell's. I put a lift kit and some off-road tires on my Tesla Model Y a few weeks ago (yeah, I know I'm weird), and had an appointment in Spokane for Tesla to do an alignment yesterday. The understeer on my car after installing the lift kit was atrocious, and it's been really nerve-wracking driving around while waiting for Tesla to squeeze me in to do the alignment out of town. Well, Tesla cancelled on me yesterday due to stupid reasons, so I gave Luttrell's a call and they had my alignment done before noon today! The steering is back to normal, or honestly even better than it's ever been. I can't stress enough how great it was to have these guys take care of me so quickly, and at less than half the cost that Tesla was going to charge me. Major props!

It's hard to find a trustworthy and well organized shop. These guys exceeded my expectations. My repair was done on budget and on time and I can't be happier! I'll be back for sure.

Did they repair what I needed? Yes. Showed up for my scheduled time, and they double booked saying I wasn't until the following week. They were unapologetic and did not care that I had arranged expensive rental transportation. They had my car for an extra week until the "original" date. They clearly don't need the extra business as there services are extremely expensive $490 to replace a water pump. I hope the work lasts because I won't be returning.Services: General repairs & maintenance

So my husband is a diesel mechanic unbeknownst to the man that was helping me (and a very good one at that). The tires were wearing unevenly on our truck and my husband told me to go get the truck aligned. I brought it here to do just that. Someone came back out saying the suspension needed to be redone and would be about $1,500. I felt like it was fishy and told him I wanted to talk to my husband about it first. My husband tore apart the front end and said that the suspension didn't have enough wear on it to warrant replacing it and said he was probably just trying to get some business out of me to put it nicely. I wouldn't recommend these guys for anything. The only reason why I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because he only charged me $30 ish vs $100 average to have someone look at it..... By the way a year and a half later and no more uneven wear. Before that last alignment a brand new set of tires lasted about 6 months.

Took my car in to get it cleaned out because a week prior it ran fine and still does, next thing you know I’m getting my fuel pumps and lines replaced and my air control valve and all sorts of stuff replaced. Before I even gave them my car I told them to put a gasket on before starting it and ran my car til it threw oil all over my engine bay and didn’t clean it up. After I got fed up of the run around I tried getting my car back ended up pay $2,000 total. Worst experience everServices: Engine repair

Jim was a life-saver! Air conditioner broke on a record-breaking heat weekend and we were NOT going to make it home. Jim managed to get a part delivered and installed in less than 24 hours, all on top of being super busy and already booked up. Thank you for making time for us and getting us back on the road. So courteous, professional, honest, trust-worthy. We are so grateful!

Dont go here they will scam you. I ask them to help me find our why my blinkers were not blinking. Hoping to get a estimate for the costs for the fix. The bulbs were just fine. They said it was the bulbs. They changed the bulbs and costed me about $65 for them to change bulbs that already worked. They just weren't blinking?!! Bulbs were fine..

$3,200.00 engine rebuild was done feb.2020 its now nov.10th 2020 my car is in a diffrent shop with an engine full of oil (as recommended)and locked up. At this point Luttrell is fully aware my engine failure is not do to my error since there is oil in it. It is very apparent this is an issue due to there entegrity.I would not recommend this buisness there integrity is definitely flawed and unjust. BEWAREMy car is still titled in russ davis name yet they refuse to be held accountable. Horrible horrible horrible horrible company..... lemon law says warranty is effective and I will be reporting your company to attorney generals office to file a customer complaint.Service: Engine repair
