When going to get just what I need for a meal, I have a problem with standing in a long line for the self check out. Pay the people a living wage so we, the people that buy the stuff, can get in and out in a timely manner. Safeway Albertsons do better.

This place has the worst Chinese food ever. It had some bitter taste that I've never had in Chinese food. Not sure if it was some weird seasoning, like rye or dill, or if they just put old food in with the new food. If you can't cook Chinese food, don't work as a cook. Luckily I didn't get sick from it. I thought I'd try this place since all the other Chinese food places get bad reviews. I guess you just can't get any good Chinese food in Walla Walla.

Safeway used to be a great family grocery store in the pnw but since it has been bought out by kroger i wont shop there anymore. Kroger is a monopolistic company ran by oligarchs slowly destroying the american middle class and dont deserve your business. Support local business and buy local.

I had zero CS tonight while checking out. A huge cart full to overflowing and was told I had to use self check out. I am not an employee. I don’t use self checkout. I had to put my bags of groceries on the disgusting floor. This is unacceptable! There were several employees walking around that could have opened a register. Next time I’m leaving the cart behind. This was utterly ridiculous.

The store posts prices that you can't get without jumping through stupid hoops. Oh, you want to pay $2.47 instead of $5.99? Just download this huge app, scan the shelf tag?? (unclear how to do that), search the menu for tiny photos of vague matches? I had to ask an employee for help to buy ice cream. Just ridiculous. Thoroughly unpleasant experience. Safeway /Albertsons/whoever were already getting all my shopping data with my Safeway club card. What good does it do for the store to frustrate me so much I'm reluctant to come back?

This is where you get more than groceries. My wife was there today and got a couple doses of attitude, first a cashier at checkout and then at the cigarette counter. Safeway is not the only option here and we will go elsewhere, not to mention parking can be a pain. This is where you pay more and get a bonus of attitude.

Well they rushed me through , as I put my groceries up , to be scanned I couldn’t check on the prices , I had bought a lot of clearance items for cleaning and medical , I needed to make sure they rang up right , well she wouldn’t slow down, I had no clue what I was charged . She then said it came to 974.78 , I felt I’ll, I was so careful as to only buy clearance items , I paid for it, and went home and checked and found out nothing was on clearance or on sale even . I called them to say some of the items I was returning. I kept at least 650. 00 of my purchases . Well whoever the manager was on May , 3 2020 refused to even look at it . Wow I spend 100.00s of dollars there a month , but no more . I had 2 broken items he would not exchange even . I need to get ahold of the head manager , because this is so wrong , I’m crushed right now

I'm sad to say that I probably won't be shopping at this or any other Safeway as long as they continue to have ridiculous measures in place like one way isles and enter at one end of the store only and exit on the other end and don't forget limiting the amount of people in the store. Do you actually think that solves anything?? Absolutely not! The employees there are nice but whoever made these changes whether it be management or corporate need to re-evaluate how they conduct business.

This applies only to their delivery service. After a 4 hour delay, I finally heard from a shopper. The shopping process took well over an hour, then they had trouble processing my card (error on their end, not mine). They said the system was having trouble with some kinds of cards. Rather than ask me for another card, they simply canceled my order. No, I will not be attempting to use this service again.

Absolutely horrible. They charged and returned to me the coat that had not been cleaned. I inspected the item right there in the store and everything was the same as I brought them in except that they had been tagged.! When I pointed it out TO THE OWNER, there was no explanation or apology or discount. He told me to come back in a week. I think they ship to tri-cities to be cleaned.

I love Safeway but am a little concerned about something. Yesterday, Mar 1st, I bought a 20 Oz Toffee Breve from the entryway Starbucks. It was between 7:20 and 7:40 in the am.

GREAT! I was hesitant to come here after reading all of the bad reviews but also realized that all of the reviews were old so I decided to give this place a try. And boy, am I glad that I did!TIMING. The turn-around time was very typical. I dropped off two 2-piece suits on a Tuesday morning and was told it would be ready on Friday afternoon. I dropped off 3 more suit jackets on a Monday morning and was told it would be ready Wednesday afternoon. This is very reasonable and if you wear suits on the reg, you should be rotating your suits through the cleaners rather than dropping them all off at once resulting in being stuck with nothing for days. Even coming from the big cities of LA and Seattle, anyone expecting anything quicker than these time frames just isn't being reasonable. PRICES. Prices were also very reasonable. At the time of this post, suit jacket separates cost $8 per coat (for my three, it was $24 before taxes). For my two suits (2-piece), it was $31.58 with taxes. You don't pay upfront, you pay when you pick up your garments.OTHER. Although I cannot speak for anything other than men's suits, I know they also do alterations. SERVICE. The ladies are incredibly friendly and my suits came out clean, fresh, and ready to take on whatever the world was going to throw at them (lol!). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get their dry-cleaning done.

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever used. I signed up for automatic refills. Three days after my medications should have been refilled, they weren't ready. I still had refills available, so that wasn't the problem. They just hadn't done it. I ran out of medication because they couldn't be bothered to do their job. I coincidentally had a follow-up with my doctor that day, and he sent in a prescription for additional refills. Two hours later, I showed up at the pharmacy because they should surely be ready by then. They weren't. They said they had "just received it," and it would be an hour wait. From previous experiences, I knew it would be much longer than that. One time my "twenty-minute wait" lasted nearly two hours. I immediately went to another pharmacy to transfer my prescription. Needless to say, I won't have my prescriptions sent to the Plaza Safeway ever again.
