Mgr took the bell away at the deli. You may have a long wait for service there if crew is working in back. Makes no sense, but typical of this management. Their grocery prices are getting out of hand.

Wonderful produce I love the prices with that being said, the past few weeks of shopping here I have been getting attitude from many of the employees. Serious attitude from a checker (short grey hair older lady) the deli manager, and last week an attitude from the help desk manager( blonde/ reddish hair and glasses) big,big attitude, snapped at me when I asked about substitution on monopoly game items ( which you never have any stock of) I no longer shop at the Safeway near me because of the rude service. I'm running out of Safeways to go to. I love the prices.

Great experience at the plaza way Safeway. The staff are very helpful and friendly. One can be a little over friendly lol. I know this cashier is just having fun but it does get awkward when they comment on different items im purchasing or loudly comment on the price of various items. Seems quite hyperactive and will attempt to crack jokes after jokes that don't really land. So I have to give the pity smile and chuckle. I didn't get any special needs vibes or anything but if thats the case I apologize.I'm an old man. So maybe I just don't get these kids anymore lol.

I love Rose Street Safeway! Not only is it conveniently located downtown, but because people think that it's "the ghetto Safeway" it's also less crowded, i.e. the shelves are well stocked! Anyone who's been to Albertsons lately has probably noticed that they're consistently out of something in the produce department. Also a fun fact for anyone out there reading this, the plaza Safeway's floral department is higher priced than Rose Street and they use the SAME VENDOR!! The orchids are marked up $10 higher at plaza, which is about a 30% increase for the same item! Who knows what other items are marked higher.. Granted plaza does have more options, like the bakery but that's not really my concern, so I'll stick with Rose Street! ?

This place has the worst Chinese food ever. It had some bitter taste that I've never had in Chinese food. Not sure if it was some weird seasoning, like rye or dill, or if they just put old food in with the new food. If you can't cook Chinese food, don't work as a cook. Luckily I didn't get sick from it. I thought I'd try this place since all the other Chinese food places get bad reviews. I guess you just can't get any good Chinese food in Walla Walla.

I was shopping at the Plaza Safeway yesterday and stopped by the customer service counter. I patiently waited for the employee to get off the phone. When she hung up she left without saying a word to me. I again patiently waited to see if she would return. Finally a young man came to help me. I told him what she did and thanked him for coming to do her job. And to tell her what a great job she was doing. She needs interpersonal skills training and moved to somewhere other than customer service.
