Food Bank is o.k., consumer beware though: after bringing home a bottle of non-perishable orange juice to drink(plastic bottle/see thru)& taking it out of my fridge so that it could get nice & cold for me to drink, I shook it really well before opening it & pouring myself some, I realized to my horror that it smelled rank & when I took a sip, it tasted really nasty and totally bad.Major disappointment as it wasn't expired & I've always gotten good O.J. from the food bank before at this location. Such a shame., I had to dump the rest down the drain, because it wasn't fit for human consumption. Had to buy some other stuff that was good from the store myself, when I have to live off of $40/week.

It's been a long time since I've been to the Salvation Army. It's not like it used to be. I'm thinking their saving money on labor because the no longer size or hang close anymore. Nor do they categorize hardware. Basically you jump into a table and go thru the pile looking for stuff and nope there's not other doing the same. So timing is important. Also you don't pay per item, you pay per pound. Different, I dont know how it works out on a good buy or not. But to find something your looking for prepar on spending a little time. Some Salvation Army still set up tje old way but be prepared to pay for that labor to sort stuff for you. The Gate Keeper NW

Prices are a little high on certain things. Not fond of the price on furniture main second hand. Dishes are chipped and kids running free getting into things parents don't pay attention to their kids. Toys in walk way. Things aren't picked up mainly toys and books from children playing with.
