Veterans Memorial Golf Course is a friendly and enjoyable public course. The staff is very nice, friendly, and kind, especially in welcoming and encouraging youth to love the game. The course is pretty forgiving and enjoyable for all golfers at any skill level. Overall, it is a good value and a blast to play. The conditions receive mixed notes. Some find the greens in great shape and fast, while fairways can have brown areas, dead spots, and be hard and fast. The bunkers are noted as quite large and sometimes not raked. It is definitely not a four-star resort, but the course is seen as well taken care of as it can be. For the price, you can't beat this place, making it a recommended visit for a fun round.

Really enjoyed playing here. Greens were in great shape. A couple fairways were brown in some areas, but expected with the little rain received. Definitely recommend. Lost my Garmin z30 rangefinder today. Hopefully it gets found.

I was glad to see that the US Flag was finally replaced. I was surprised to see a ripped US Flag flying at a place that memorializes Veterans
