I deposited my check into the ATM machine on 1/23/2024. On 1/25/2024 they added a 7 day hold on my check. Now reading policies I can see that would be necessary for a new account holder. I’ve been established with my account at Key Bank nearly 10 years now and all my income is direct deposited into my account. Key bank handles all of my income. They are about to loose my money. I will be taking all of my direct deposit money somewhere else. For them to treat me like I am committing fraud. I will not be keeping my account much longer past the check clearing. They are holding it to verify ?? 9 days to make a simple phone call to verify? You can call the people who wrote the check and verify very easily. It doesn’t take 9 days to make the phone call to see it’s a legitimate check. Don’t deposit with the ATM. My smart phone with my online banking app is faster than waiting for the Wapato Branch to do their job.

they just charged my mom a $35 overdraft fee because she was short 8 cents. 8 CENTS. They refused to reverse it. Poor woman had to count change for gas this morning and they just straight up robbed her for $35 over 8 cents. Horrible people, don’t use Key Bank!

I Enjoy getting my money when needed at Key bank but the only problem was watching someone trying to exchanged half ripped money, only to be told no can do... Hmm not what I expected but hopefully things will change to where it can be done.
