The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. My friend and I took advantage of the hot tub and sauna! Perfection!!! The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The only negatives we had was the lack of hot water! It might have been the day, but it was less than stellar. Lukewarm at best.Other than that, we had an overall great experience!Safety: The key card was required at every door after dark, and that was comforting. We felt safe as 2 women traveling alone.

This BW has a nice staff who went above and beyond for guests during the terrible ice storm Jan 14-17. The hotel is clean, breakfast was hot, prompt, tasty and well stocked every day. The front desk hosts are welcoming, competent and take care of anything you need in a timely manner. The cleaning staff was friendly, polite and graciously made us feel welcome and our room was very well kept every day even during the weather event, the employees showed up and worked hard to make everything good for us. Great location, right by the river, huge view of Mount Hood, a very quick drive from PDX. Would stay again there.

We stay here several times a year while visiting family. A couple of times they've messed up our reservation and gave us the wrong room but always made it right. I noticed we didn't get our rewards bag when we arrived this time but it's not a big deal. The riverview suite is always our choice and it never disappoints... they aren't fancy rooms but they are efficient and clean. Make sure you walk over to the park and marina ?.

I booked a room using their website. It somehow went from the date I was trying to book to that night. It was 6:30 at night when I was booking. The next day I got an email asking how my stay was. I called the hotel immediately to ask for a refund as I clearly wasn't staying there the night before. I talked to someone at the desk who said I needed to speak to the manager who was out. He sent me to the manager's voicemail and I left a detailed message. I never got a call back. Not customer service look for in a hotel. We stayed there 5 nights later on the night i originally booked. The rooms was small. It was loud as all heck all night. Someone turned on loud music at 5:30 am. The breakfast was half empty in the morning. We will go back to staying at the Holiday Inn express in Camas.

This pains me. It is with genuine sadness I write this, especially since I was so exuberantly looking forward to drafting a positive review... I'll try to keep time linear. I've stayed at the Port of Camas BW hundreds of times over the course of the last 3.5 years, sometimes under my name, other times my husband's, or other family/friends, and after a 1 year hiatus consisting of no home renovations or surgeries requiring handicapped facilities, I checked in earlier this week after surgery and was floored by the thoughtful, not always grandiose, but very detailed, deliberate, and thoughtful changes I had seen that brought the BW Port of Camas up in comfort, modernity, and fun. I learned also that there seemed to be a new GM onsite in a daily capacity which I always thought they needed, and his kind words caught me off guard after a week spent fighting for medical care and representation, and fighting for the privilege to walk again; his quiet and earnest words struck a chord and disarmed me, moving me to tears, a thing that doesn't happen. So it is now that I am writing this, a 1980's litter commercial tear running down my cheek after he came to my door complaining of the smell, which is my melted laptop screen; something I thought I could try fixing since there's very little to do as I'm wheelchair bound for at least 3 more months (more seeing if I could work around it/rig it, i.e. chip off the candle fodder and see if the motherboard still operated by plugging into an external screen). I already lost my car, my mobility, my job, my school, my home (as I live in the outback of Washougal and one must be capable of ambulating if they are to come inside.). I don't know verbatim what he is implying, but I can infer enough to know he believes me to be up to mischief of one kind or another, and telling a girl her area smells bad is the meanest thing anyone could say to her. Thanks for kicking me while I'm down. And no one will issue a refund despite this being a 90 minute old room. I offered to pack my things out and go elsewhere right away because nowhere in there was a person who was trying to listen and problem solve; I may have limited olfactory cells but I'm laden with ears and a brain, certain we could've come to a less hurtful, insulting, and embarrassing conclusion. I'm ashamed I allowed his words to touch me yesterday, and angry for being so affected at the other end of the spectrum today. I give 5 imaginary stars for the first 2 days, and end with 1 star for how I've been made to feel today. I am artlessly crestfallen, perhaps too emotional due to the week's traumas and surgeries and mammoth losses due to a second of poor judgement, but perhaps that is why a GM should have great care and tact rather than tearing into sensitive people at the low points in their lives: his second of poor judgement broke my loyalty to their business from here forward until I feel up to possibly being verbally berated to again test the waters. Honorable Mentions: Bradford. Brandon. Both of these guys are phenomenal customer service reps and are kind, funny, and helpful. As was Chason.
