This used to be a great park, then the city decided to put in a ridiculous disc golf course without the feedback and approval of the community. The “picnic” area is a small charcoal grill and one table, right next to the playground. It’s nice they’ve added some more tables, but the trees around there are dying and in desperate need of a qualified arborist. We tend to enjoy parks outside of Washougal anymore. Between kids setting playgrounds on fire (Hamlick), turning over ports-johns Hartwood and Hathaway), etc. Washougal is just a dump. Often times the playgrounds are littered with trash, which the grounds people then run over with the lawnmower, including glass bottles, and spread the trash further. The cops can’t keep up with all the vandalism, the city manager refuses to open public restrooms… Washougal is a dump. The only thing that has changed in the last 12+ years are the wrinkled faces on the city council.

So fun...but not a lot of shade at the actual park so plan accordingly. Also we really miss the pig pen where the littles could play safely and the pig and chickens are greatly missed!

Amazing park for kids 3 and up. We utilize the field right next to the playground with the littles play. There is a disc golf course and a gravel walking path as well that goes a good distance. It's a very tranquil spot. There is a parking lot, and a porta-potty that was very clean (can't guarantee this of course).Playground: Farm theme: two slides, play tractor, swings, climbing equipment that looks like corn stocks. It's all so cute.Restrooms: Portable restroomDog-friendliness: On leashPicnic area: Lots of picnic tables

The new disc golf course with nine concrete tees begins just north of the red shed. Five tees have two associated baskets. First five fairways are generally down the hillside and the last four back up the hill. The signage is excellent and tells the rest of the story. During the rainy season, the Disc Course is very wet and swampy.

This is a great beginner course. Everything about it! Easy to navigate to the next hole, warm up short and long goals. Loved it. Wish there was more clean up on the blackberry bushes, but I heard that's coming.

There is a disc golf course that is in the park... It's surrounded by black berries, so be careful!
