Cleared me for a firearm with 24 hour notice to pickup or cancel while I was on vacation out of state after waiting weeks for a call for the approval. Cost me 800 dollars and months of effort in getting the money to pay for it on layaway. I'll never forget that. All I wanted was that one pistol and my collection would be complete. Never, ever gonna forget that.

We have shopped here since 1976 when we first arrived in town. The old gang is mostly gone but there are still some knowledgeable people in the sales staff. They seem truly intent on helping you find what you need.

I cannot believe how I was just treated over the phone by one of the gun counter employees, and then his supervisor.
I could sit here and give a detailed story for the public to read about what happened. No need. What I will say here is that I just recently gained an internet following that listens to what I have to say. And they kind of do what I tell them to because I have what they want. So, I hope Stan's Merry-Mart is prepared for what is coming their way. I'm one hell of a good salesman and I'm about to open my mouth, starting today.
Lastly, I feel bad for all of their employees not only for how they are currently treated, but also for what this is going to do to their jobs. There are better jobs out there with better employers and better pay. Hopefully they all figure it out!

Never a bad time for an edit!
So here I am a few days after originally posted this. I was up at 7-Eleven buying some provisions when I noticed the stands Mary Mart employee in front of me discussing work drama that she probably shouldn't have to the front counter person ringing in her order. After she left out the door and he started to ring me up, I explained to him the entire circumstance and story of what I had went through at Stan's Mary Mart a few days prior. He could not believe how I was treated down there and what the management had said in regards to the sales of guns by their employees that know nothing of the gun laws. Utter shock was his expression.
I'm going to keep on talking to everyone. I can letting them know exactly what went down in that building. A presidential candidate was just shot by a gun and stands. Mary Mart can't tell you anything about the product that they're selling unless management approves of the question to be answered.
WIERDOS! LOSERS! COWARDS!
All backed by the local sheriff's department and the Wenatchee PD. I will just go buy my weapons to protect myself somewhere else with smarter more knowledgeable people that know how to treat their customers.

It's a Wenatchee staple, buy their stuff.
I go there for plumbing/irrigation supplies, hardware, quality shoes, fishing gear, bird seed, cleaning supplies, etc. Can't find something? Just stare longingly for 20 seconds and four employees will ask you if you need help. I'm older now (see birdseed above) apparently that really matters to me and is worth mentioning in a review. Lol. They somehow have quality everything even though the store isn't the size of costco. The little shopping carts I used to push around as a kid are still there.
It's adorable.
