“Kindly emergency department staff. Very helpful and understanding. If you have a non-life-threatening emergency, I recommend the Mares hospital instead of Central Washington. The staff at Central are very overrun, and let my Grandma scream in pain in the waiting room for nearly an hour. After she was discharged, she fainted and vomited on herself, and we were told to just take her outside to sit. It seems anytime my family or myself has needed to go to Central, there staff there are too overworked to give proper care. They even have hospital beds in the hallways. I've been to Mares emergency instead 2 times for an issue with a narrowed, hypoplastic transverse sinus in my head, and have been treated with respect and attentive care every time. They are not a trauma response emergency department, but they can handle other issues.”
