Horrible service.
The front desk person was not friendly better to say very rude . We came 30 minutes before 3 pm and he asked me to pay him $25.00 for early check in. He said that there is no space to store a suitcase for a couple of hours. Never happened to me before.
When we asked for an extra blanket for my mother who is 86 years old, he said that all the extra blanket were given away. It was clear that he wanted me to pay him extra money for a blanket.
In the morning January 19 we could not find the hot water to make tea. When I went to the kitchen there was a men standing with his iPhone doing something but not his work. He sent me to the front desk and the woman from the front desk sent me back to him saying that this is his job not her. When I came back to the kitchen he said that he needs to heat up the water. I gave up.
After we packed ( in an hour) I came back since we couldn’t t find even cold water there, and the pot for the hot water was still empty. I got very upset with the kitchen worker and after that, he said that I can get the water myself in the kitchen. He was very rude. I notice there was a sign asking not go to the kitchen, but I didn’t have another chose. My mom needed hot water to take her medicine . I got water myself there. Before we left I could’t find anybody at the front desk at all to complain. I just put the keys on the deck and we left.
Noteworthy details: Horrible service, rude customer service.

The only positive thing about this hotel was the location; it was close to everything . I had never been to Wenatchee before but this hotel was recommended by friends so I took a chance but I regret it immensely. The rooms and inside of the building were old, clearly never being renovated or even fixed. The carpet was uneven which is a safety hazard, the room smelled, every staff member was wearing headphones even while dealing with guests, etc. The hotel charged us the full amount for the room before we even showed up even though we chose to pay upon check in, then they charged us AGAIN when we checked out, and then AGAIN less than 2 weeks later, saying they’ll have to look into it and not admitting any fault.
We will never stay here or any red lion again or recommend them to anyone. All they seem to care about is overcharging people.

Front desk service would not get off the phone when we showed up 40 minutes to 3 to check in and ushered us away just holding up three fingers. Did not offer early check in although it’s a policy when the hotel was almost empty. Food service personnel do not wait hair nets while cooking or serving. Food service personnel do not wear gloves when handling food instead they will grab eggs with their hands after sneezing into their shirt in front of several people at breakfast. This is absolutely disgusting and not how good handling is safely done. To top off the disgusting activities you have to pay for this breakfast. The front desk also informed us the second morning that no food is allowed in the room as it brings in ants, when it’s freezing and snowing outside…

The room checkin was slow which is why we had to wait for like 45 min brcause their keying system had an error. Apart from that a decent avg. place for a night.

Well I guess I shouldn’t have expected much from a 3 star hotel, but when I’m there for four days and the front desk says they’ll send a refresher twice and it never happened that’s not okay… I even had to ask for disinfectant wipes to clean up myself. The concern for cleanliness isn’t even at the bare minimum, we will not be returning to this hotel again.

First, the hotel is dated and worn, though this isn't the reason for the one star review. I am writing this review from the hotel, after trying to get breakfast which was blocked by a hotel employee working behind the counter desk. Breakfast is from 7am to 10am, and yes, I was going at literally (and I'm using that in the literal sense) 10:01am with my wife and child. I thought at first that the employee was joking, or giving us the heads up that as the breakfast was over, items would be taken away as it was being cleaned up, which would be reasonable. But no, she was saying that as it was 10:01am, we wouldn't enter, though that if it was 1 minute prior, we could. And yes, there were many other people still eating and milling about in the breakfast area.
She was going out of her way to make our day worse, and was just completely unreasonable. Look, we'll just go elsewhere and pay for breakfast. It's not a big deal. What is a big deal is her shocking attitude and desire to go out of her way on a power trip at the expense or her guests. Yikes.

Stay here once a year, and the rooms are always big and spacious, and there's good breakfast downstairs (costs $ but it's cheap). It's conveniently located to everything around town, including walkable distances to restaurants, shopping, bars, and even Starbucks. But the best part for me is that's it's incredibly cheap but a pretty damn nice hotel for what you're paying.

This place is the WORST place I've ever stayed. Random hair, yellow stains on sheets. Blood on the bathroom wall. I could go on but I just puked a little in my mouth. DO NOT STAY HERE! WHATEVER YOU DO.

Overall, I won't recommend, anything is better than this, even sleeping in a car!!!
Mattress: 0 star worst- this is the core reason for giving bad review , this hotel has saved every penny they can, including on mattress, worst I have ever seen, soggy, lumpy, anyone above 150 lbs weight can get serious lower back pain. Mattress sinks like 5 to 6 inches unevenly, can cause back problems.
Price : paid between 100-130 /night, during festive season, so comparatively price is ok as compared to other hotels.
Rooms: bad, 1 star - stayed in single room, Queen, carpets really old, worn, size around 300 sqft. Furniture very old (not in good way), thermostat (so old technology never even seen anything like that).
Room Amenities: microwave, mini fridge, chair, table, 32 inch old sanyo tv
Breakfast: 0 star, this point is relative as some people might be ok with the breakfast, but my rating is based on quality of food and I'm comparing it with a good hotel breakfast, as otherwise, service and variety for breakfast was basic, some may say low quality ingredients
Parking: plenty of parking
