Great atmosphere. Came in with my sister as new players and were immediately given 4 free welcome decks and starter materials and invited a space to play and test them out. The people complaining about the smell of the shop must be overly sensitive, the smell is very typical for gaming rooms. The owner and his son are both very knowledgeable, honest, and helpful.

Great prices, huge selection of Magic cards and packs, really nice service here. We came in as complete beginners to Magic: the Gathering and Thaddeus was really nice about helping us get started, and even gave us some free starter decks! We would definitely recommend Sanctuary and will be coming back here next time we are in town. :)

Excellent experience. Fun man at the counter with plenty of knowledge about the shop specialty of Magick, and tabletop games.

They never answer the phone and if they do hang up before even putting the phone to their ear. Extremely rude employee, I'm pretty sure it's the guy that runs the place also. The store has the vibe of your creepy uncles basement. The cave or time capsule would be better

I have been into gaming since the late 70s and MTG since Alpha came out so I have walked into a lot of game shops over the years. The Sanctuary is an exceptional experience in the quirky game shop universe. The combination of good prices, helpful/friendly staff, amazing selection and well run events make it the go-to game shop for my kids and I.

Was in from out of town and ventured out to visit Sanctuary. I purchased some very hard to find vintage mtg cards here and even an Invisibility card from Alpha. The prices were remarkably low, great atmosphere, and people playing games casually seemingly having a great time. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and had stories that dated back to my first days of mtg, and I really appreciated that. 5 stars, all the way. An amazing place.

Ok first off, this place stinks like BO and spoiled foot fungus. Secondly, the moment I walked in these guys looked at me like they had not seen sunlight in years. Finally the prices ON GOD the prices I went though a DnD phase a few years back but this was another level the store owner stunk of cigarettes and the people looked like the cartoon network basement dweller please god help me.

I lived and grew up in Wenatchee for most of my childhood and some of my teen year. I was there when Sanctuary first open. The owner Thaddeus was always a friendly person to be around. He always make the store a great and fun place to be. He ran so many card events. A lot of his customers became regulars throughout the years. I know that when i go home to see family that still live there, i stop by and give him my business. He has been in business for about 24 years now. If you are looking for great place to shop and hang out, then I would 100% recommend that you go to store there.If you go in there with drama or nonsense, he will probably ask you to leave as he runs a friendly place and he has no time for your BS. He believes in respecting everyone thoughts and feelings even if he personally doesn't agree with them from time to time.

I visited the Sanctuary to pick up some MTG card packs. The selection is huge, even versus several online stores I’ve looked at. The owner was not flowery or super chatty with me, but was very helpful and friendly in a to the point way.I wish I’d known this place existed before spending money on cards at the chain stores in town that have much more limited selection for similar or even worse prices.
