Our dealing with this store was a disaster. I'm an event planner and had an event scheduled for 200 people. I ordered over $1000 worth of food for the event six days before it was scheduled. I went to pick up the food the morning of the event, and they only had 20% of the order in stock. They had my contact information and not one email or text message was sent to notify me of the shortages.
I scurried all day to different grocery stores in order to make our event a success after Chef'store let me down.
If you have an event planned, be very careful or you may get jammed up like I did. It won't happen again.

This was my first time shopping here.It reminds me of the old Smart & Final stores in Southern California (1980's)I found things I haven't seen in the local grocery stores and have been wanting for years!

I come here for the great deals they have on 12-20lb cuts of meat and roasts seven I have room to cut them up and put them in the freezer. In and out. No hassle. Can't speak to anything except the meat case, which is always perfectly organized and well stocked.

Really darn good grocery / restaurant supply place! My wife and I stop in from time to time when we need larger quantities of something for freeze-drying, or when we need cleaning supplies or paper products. Always clean and well-stocked, with a VERY good meat department and quite a respectable refrigerated produce and freezer selection as well. The crew is friendly and easy to work with, they know right where everything is if you can't spot it.
