From my experience, the Women's Resource Center has helped my family and I with getting our children back from foster care, by providing secure housing. We couldn't have done it without them. Thank you so much WRC! We appreciate everything you did.

I have been at the Miller park apartments for over two years now. I was actually one of the first ones to move in. I can assure you of one thing it's a safe, clean and structured environment to help people such as myself to get out of the viscous cycle of homelessness and addiction. The staff not only here but the maintenance crew and the director are very supportive and non judgemental. If I break any rules I'm notified within 24 hours of my infraction to make myself aware not to do it again. I would highly recommend that if someone needs housing that is supportive to inquire about their program and perhaps meet the staff. Anyone that can put up with a problem child like me deserves five stars. I plan on staying for as long as the Lord allows

WRC has been an incredible resource to use and maintain housing for not just me, but several other clients. They care about where their tenants mental health and well being is at. I've NEVER had a resource like this, and will do/would refer people to them to obtain help as well. They've created a stable living atmosphere for many who would otherwise be living on the street! Thank you for all your help!

I appreciate the staff at the Bruce for the work they do helping residents in some very difficult situations. Transitions are very difficult, but the Bruce staff work hard to provide clear guidelines, support and expectations to ensure a safe facility and assistance in finding more permanent housing solutions.

This place is a joke! If you aren't a brown nosing bi*** they treat you like a criminal or a drug addict even if you've passed every drug test they've given you! They violate you rights as a tenant. They expect you to let them enter your room every week which is a violation of the tenant rights act and a violation of your privacy. You are allowed to enjoy where you live and they make that impossible. They pick and choose who they help. They made a video in October of 2023 of this family they helped over 7 years ago like look at what we do. If they wanted something like that to make an impact they should have put a whole lot more families than 1 that was almost a decade ago. They don't take your medical and mental health into consideration and if they trigger it you will get written up for it! If you call them on their BS they write you up and if they turn in court papers for eviction they will lie and make up things that never happened and then have the case dismissed when you move out so that they can't be out on the stand because they won't be able to keep their story straight and will loose in the long run. If you end up here don't let them bully you and violate your rights. Stand up for yourself. Just know that they call themselves a non-profit they took in over a million dollars in donations in 2022 and 2023 they have 15 total employees and their salaries came to almost 700,000 dollars and they all drive brand new vehicles but they can't swing apartment application fees so people can get back into society. They call their halfway house a traditional house but don't want to help you transition. They need to be put under a microscope and have their funding pulled until they have a director that has a concern about something other than herself.

So time for some real talk! I'm going to speak the truth and the woman's resource center doesn't like the truth! This is the worst non-profit organization I've ever been associated with. Only because I'm a current resident of the Bruce Prerelease. So they are trying to evict my fiance and myself for reasons that they can't back up. The only thing they can prove is I asked a friend of mine for a couple bowls of marijuana which isnt a crime unless your friend gives you at least 2 1/2 ounces. Then they are saying that they smelled chemicals when they entered our room to do a weekly inspection which is a violation of the tenants rights to be able to enjoy where they live but can't do that when they are posting notices of entry every week clearly a violation of our privacy. And also we have cats. Can anyone tell me what cat pee and poop smells like in a small room after one day of 3 cats using it. Chemicals that's right. So not only have already served us eviction documents they forgot to think before they acted. Also because they say we are on drugs. And there has only been one drug test that has shown positive for anything other than marijuana and I can show proof that 90% of the medications that we take all prescribed from doctors can produce false positives on drug tests. So again they didn't think before they acted. And since the recent accusations they haven't asked for either one of us to do a drug test to back up their already submitted to the court documents. There's a lot more to it also but I'm sure you see all the lies that are accumulating. So I've said it before and I'll say it again this place is a joke seems like they are more worried about who can buy the most expensive vehicle rather than take some of the 1.2 million dollars they get every year and do something like actually help people.

To current and future residents- they are not there to help you, I had to find all the resources myself to get me and my kids out of there, they constantly give you the run-around and pretend like they don't know anything and when they do tell you things, they give you wrong or slightly altered information. Sara at Community Action is your friend for transitioning out of the Bruce, do what you can do work with her, call and sign up/make an appointment with Serve Wenatchee for clothes, school supplies, food and furniture. Sage is hit and miss with help. When you start signing up with Amerigroup- call them yourself to check on the status of your application and to understand exactly what the tap foundation pays for, when it's time to move out call Scooter or send her an email and cc her, angie, your case manager and the tap foundation manager for visibility. Do not become a chore leader if you can afford not to, they play the nice game and keep you there longer to get more money from you and get tax right offs. I was out of there in 2.5 months because I stayed diligent and advocated for myself and my 3 kids.

Hateful staff I agree. Not all of them but...Terrible conditions for HUD financed apartments. Makes one wonder how it even passed inspections.Landlord to tenants and Homeless liason. How is this not a conflict of interests. I must say however that things are Slowly improving. Sp I move my rating up to a three from a 1. Better. Not great.
