Charming gift shop with a helpful sweet staff. They have the most delicious saltwater taffy... buttered popcorn flavor was our favorite. They have a really good selection of awesome mugs and souvenirs!

The store is OK it’s great for the people that travel here I used to go to that store like maybe once a week with my kid, but I don’t think I’ll be going there anymore because of how rude one of the workers is she picked up the phone only to hang up on me and was being very disrespectful during the phone call. I wasn’t complaining about anything either from my end. It wasnt anything negative Looks like we’ll be sticking around at granny Hazel from now.

We had such an amazing experience here on our trip to Westport and we always try to find gifts and souvenirs with utility value and my son was ecstatic to find an engraved pocket and utility knife with his name on it and took it everywhere with him after we bought it. On our flight back to Texas, the knife was accidentally left in his backpack and confiscated by TSA. He was devastated and as a mom I felt horrible and knew I had to figure out a solution. I called the store and explained the situation and how I’d like to pay for the knife plus any shipping or trip fees. They agreed and said they’d have the owner call me to arrange. I check our mail this week and the Bird owner graciously sent us a replacement free. This was such a beautiful gesture of kindness and empathy and we appreciate it so much.

Sea Bird Gifts and Candy is our favorite shop at docks in Westport!
Their staff is very helpful and friendly. They carry 100s of great souvenirs for good prices! The best selection of fair priced saltwater taffy around and a nice big selection of chocolates! You may purchase a single piece or pounds of the candies! They carry many interesting items throughout the large shop. T-shirts, hoodies, toys, and many of the old favorites like magnets, earrings, bottle openers... I found a handy multi-purpose individualized pocket knife on this last trip for a great price. See the photo, it has a name on the back side (Bob, Sue, Tom....).
You need to stop in to the best gift & candy shop around Westport!

This is a cute little store with salt water taffy.The taffy was yummy & a great souvenir. They have stickers, migs, & glass windchimes.And hoodie sweaters. But if you're looking for a shirt with a crab on it...they were not there when we went. They did have XXL & 3XL, the style now is the bigger, the better. Plus they shrink.

Sea Bird is a fave of our family's especially when we have friends visiting! Literally something for everyone...best selection for clothes. Bonus points for Star Wars/Ocean mash-up tees (Return of the Sockeye anyone?!?). My kids love the saltwater taffy selection and always get a little bag. Today they had a lone green one for Mom...pickle. I'm not joking...while it wasn't my fave, it wasn't horrible so I can see how there would be a following). We had just finished a huge breakfast down the street so we skipped on candy/fudge this time, but the times we've had these items they've been delicious!! Service is always friendly and has us wanting to return.
