Highly recommend! The staff/owners are always friendly and helpful, the shop dogs are adorable and they have a great selection of outdoor gear at very reasonable prices.

We walked in to rent XC ski packages this past weekend and what a wonderful experience! The service was so friendly and so efficient - they got us geared up and onto the beautiful Methow Valley trails in no time (skis/boots/poles + passes in one stop). We will definitely back and would recommend to family and friends.

Nice little store if you forget your hiking or camping gear. The owner was really nice and welcoming. Hello helped me pick up the right set of snow spikes for my hiking shoes.

Amazing store with wonderful people working, so helpful. We went looking for a certain fishing pole that is great for backpacking. They immediately showed us what they had and helped us make an informed decision. We are so happy with our purchase. They also have a large line of outdoor gear. Highly recommend.

Go see the AMAZING staff at Cascade Sports. They take the time to put you in the best high quality gear on the market. Always a smile and love from the staff and little canine helpers in the store. Started renting and buying gear here in 2023, and they continue to be our preferred outdoor store, not just in Winthrop but anywhere. The service is top notch, everyone is very knowledgeable, prices competitive, with the best two four-legged greeters you could ask for. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Chaz was amazing! He outfitted us for skate ski rentals and then helped us purchase a full set after the weekend. We were first-timers and he made us feel comfortable with our gear and shared his knowledge in a positive, non-intimidating way. Amazing customer service :) dogs in the shop were cute, too!

The owners Carlin and Chas helped me get the perfect classic ski set up while we were in town over the weekend, which helped me make an informed decision. They, and their team, are super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Definitely swing by to get any gear you may need.
