What a great experience at this shop. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked inside. Todd (if I recall his name correctly) threw my bike in the stand without hesitation which can be tough for a bike shop to do on a whim. To my fellow Northern Tier riders, stop here and say hello!

I hate bike shops as a general rule but the folks at Methow Cycle saved my bike tour. They were friendly, fast and generous. They have a great selection of bikes and gear and I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone. I was lucky to break down in Winthrop.

My wife and I spend way too much time at Methow Cycle and Sport when we’re in Winthrop. We couldn’t ask for better face to face service. Their willingness to help went above and beyond this week when I called for an equipment assist—from Yuma! My research didn’t get me what I needed. David came to the rescue, directing me not only to the website where I could find the part, but also the part number. Thank you, David!

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Rented e-bikes and got top material. Staff helped adjusting ideal seat height and explained all features of the bikes. Also got tips for tours. Highly recommended.

Egads!! I have a serious problem, this shop is pure catnip to us! The place is so well curated and has everything we ever need and way more than we ever could lol. Just picked up a fantastic new mountain bike today and as usual they were able to help me figure out exactly what I needed (yes, a MTB is a need, not a "want" )
fantastic customer service, excellent mechanics, great all-around support both before and after purchases! Just took this new Norco out for its first ride and I couldn't be more stoked for summer 2024

Absolutely outstanding service. Friendly and super efficient. Zoe sorted me out with a high spec full suspension E-MTB with all the bells and whistles with only a moments notice. The team swapped over the brakes to suit me me and dialled in the suspension before I set off. Great advice about the trails and riding in the area. Thanks again team!!!

The Team was fantastic.
At first glance they thought they didn’t have the right size seat dropper but they dug into their rental fleet and stripped one off another bike.
We were up and going within a half hour.

Recently, Methow Cycle and Sport serviced my Look 765 Endurance Road Bike. They found a small crack in the bike’s frame, and fortunately, recommended against continuing to ride my bike. Joe Brown, the owner of Methow Cycle and Sport, thoroughly researched a new endurance road bike with similar geometry to a new Look 765 but with better components at a more affordable price. I followed Joe’s recommendation and purchased the bike he recommended. I’m absolutely thrilled with my new endurance road bike. I often do 50+ mile rides and the comfort and performance of my new bike far exceeds my Look 765 road bike. I highly recommend Methow Cycle Sport. Joe and Julie are owners who can be trusted. Their staff is also top notch. Great service and great people!
