I cannot recommend Winthrop Veterinary Clinic highly enough! As a proud owner of a French bulldog with various medical issues, I've faced many challenges, but the staff here has been incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. We visit at least once a month, and they always take the time to thoroughly explain all treatment options. I also bring in my pitbull lab mix, and both of my dogs feel comfortable and well cared for. The compassion and expertise displayed by the veterinarians and staff have made a significant difference in my dogs' health and well-being. I truly appreciate their dedication to providing the best care possible. Thank you, Winthrop Veterinary Clinic, for being such a reliable partner in my dogs' healthcare journey!

Methow Valley Veterinary Hospital

910 State Rte 20 POB 333, Winthrop

This isn’t our normal veterinary clinic since I live towards Seattle, but things happen and we had to make an end of life care appointment here for my 14 year old dog. This vet did a fantastic job and let my family and I have as much time and space as we needed. Those appointments are never easy or fun, but they made it as easy as it could be.

Tasty and healthy food, nice outside seating, relaxed outdoor seating.
Admittedly we were not in peak tourist season so things were quiet.
You order and pay at a counter and they bring the food out to you. You bus your table. Water is self service. I.e., service is courteous but minimal.
But healthy options with tasty ingredients are so rare, they deserve 5 stars.

The Little Dipper Café

Absolutely best coffee shop ever! My coffee orders are often very complex and the barista made it perfectly with Joy. She even let me sample it to make sure it was just right. They also had gluten-free options for pastries. And they were fantastic! I can’t recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back every time I’m in the area. I would make a special trip just to get my coffee there!

Lost River Winery

Great little location, we had a great place to relax and enjoy the area. They had pre fixed 5 wines for $10 tasting. I would recommend this place for a stop in this area!!!
