The hot tub is amazing. Was lucky enough to catch the northern lights on my trip. What a spectacular show! Sure you can't walk to downtown winthrop, but isn't that the point? This place soars when it comes to peace and tranquility. Endless birds to watch, saw a family of deer walk right past our balcony. There's a cool river to check out, have a hang, at the cost of a 2 minute walk. They might not have the best person in control of the sprinkler system as it ran the whole 72 hrs.... but that's my only complaint. I highly recommend Wolfridge Resort to anyone looking for relaxation.
Nearby activities: The old gas station in town is family run and has the BEST coffee and sandwiches. THE BEST. Ask for Trinity.

The weirdest place we've ever stayed. We arrived late and immediately noticed the shower and bathroom floor had a good amount of hair, like it hadn't been properly cleaned. Over the next few days we also noticed the following: 1) under the bed there are numerous boxes, two microwaves and a pair of dirty socks. 2) 2 out of 4 of the bathroom light bulbs were not working. 3) the bathroom cabinet has a bunch of random stuff including an empty tp roll. 4) the fireplace was taken apart and the thermostat was hanging off the wall. 5) a candy wrapper under the couch. 6) top of the fridge was disgustingly dirty. 7) cabinets are messy and disorganized. 8) carpets are super dirty. 9) random sleds and rubber glove in parking area. 10) windows are also disgusting. This place doesn't feel like a rental. It feels like someone's house that wasn't expecting guests. Creepy. Also, the "hot tub" is not hot and doesn't have functioning jets. It seems to have been that way for a long time.I reached out to management and they completely brushed off my concerns. They came by to put the fireplace back together and screw in the light bulbs that weren't working, but otherwise nothing. They tried to say it was because it was a same day turn around, but this place is chronically dirty and disorganized.I get that the cabin is old, but for $200/ night I would expect it to be clean. We will never stay here again and we WOULD NOT recommend it to anyone! There are way better places to stay.Rooms: Dirty and disorganized.

The house was so cool, and in such a beautiful setting, the public pool and fun for the kids to cool off in on the hot summer days that we were there. The river was also right on the door, just set off the river trail.

Be aware the the cabins are individually owned and the different owners have varying degrees of accommodation standards. The interior of our cabin was comfortable and well appointed but the outside sitting area had only 2 broken chairs, a half painted deck with numerous areas of rotting wood and workers supplies left out in plain view.

The view and surrounding area is amazing, there is a nice sized pool and hot tub as well as a warming hut and trails for skiing in winter. The cabins are well-sized and clean.Nearby activities: Pool, skiing, small playground, near a townWalkability: You can walk around the fields and easily reach the resort area

We had a family vacation at Lone Wolf cabin and everything was great! The cabin was clean and comfortable for all 8 of us. 3 bedrooms for the adults and the sleeping loft for the kids. The kitchen was well equipped with lots pots and pans and appliances and even spices. There are games and puzzles available and the hot tub was clean and ready for our private use. There is a gas grill on the deck. The river is just a short walk away. But beware all the beds are very squeaky so no hanky panky!

We LOVE Wolfridge Resort. It provides such a low-key and relaxing get-away and we love that it is so dog-friendly. After a very long drive to get to Winthrop, we arrived at 2:30am and couldn't get our cabin combo to work. Gabrielle was responsive to my late night text and saved the day. We were so appreciative! The lodge has great access to ski trails right out the door and the dog-friendly ski trails just a short drive away. We can't wait to return for a summer visit to frolic through the mountains and wildflowers. PS: There are lots of deer up this way, so drive slow!
