I helped my friend move across the country and witnessed all the troubles she went through with this storage company, including having her unit being broken into and the lack of communication and effort from staff to resolve the issue. She chose this company because of the location, but says things started to go downhill when they switched from Cube Smart to Trojan.

Getting the keys for my unit was a nightmare. I paid for a 10x10 and when I went with the on-site associate (male)to check it out I got assigned a corner unit which ended up being of much smaller space (looked like a triangle that couldn't fit a couch) then this man tells me it's a 10x10 because of the door size lmao guy was a moron. Then when we go back to the desk to find a different unit I have to tell him 3x to apply the promo that they had available. Then I go to check the other unit out and the previous lock is still in it. Long story short what could've been a 10min interaction turned into 45 for little to no reason, poor management.

Elevators don't work. I can't remove my stuff and go elsewhere if I wanted to!Staff never picks up phone and they only allow you to be on the lot for 30 minutes. You can't get anything done in 30 minutes when the elevators are not working!This place went downhill fast once trojan took over. Hostile ownership and policies, very unfriendly and broken elevators.

Be aware that this location is a target for thieves. There have been recent break-ins into several units Staff rarely on duty and minimal surveillance. Be careful when shopping around for a secure storage facility. Avoid this location for now.

This is a very nice facility. It is relatively pricey and there have been price increases every 6 months- rather excessive. I made no complaints as this was a very nice facility and it’s too troublesome to move. Rental rate is for climate control facility. Recently, Trojan bought the facility from CubeSmart. The facility has no climate control. It’s sooo cold. What you get is not what you pay for. Do not come here if your items really need climate control.

First of all, this storage facility in Woodinville has only been "Trojan Storage" since July 2022. Before that, it was CubeSmart. So any reviews here prior to that date would apply to the old management at CubeSmart, rather than Trojan.That said, we are not off to a great start after the transition.Just prior to the take-over Trojan sent out a confusing, ambiguous email regarding when and how automatic payments needed to be manually switched from CubeSmart.In my case I mistakenly understood that mail to say that I had until September to call and set up autopay with the new company. Instead, it was the end of July. So, of course, being a typical corporation, the stern email soon arrived laden with extra fees.After calling the Woodinville office and explaining, the extra fees were removed, I paid the amount owed over the phone to the end of August, and they set up autopay. All good. I was told that everything would be automatic from that point on, as it had been with CubeSmart....only to receive another threatening email on Sep 1 about a partial past due amount. I realize that these messages are automatically generated, but I don't appreciate the tone, the hassle, or having to allocate more time to dealing with Trojan's inefficiencies.Lastly, I'll mention that under CubeSmart, we had a break-in to our unit. Long story short, we learned that the "security" and cameras around the facility are largely theater. Management did nothing to investigate and our requests for follow-up were met with scripted responses and stonewalling.I would've moved out months ago if I didn't live 6000 miles away. Let's hope the experience with Trojan is smoother after our next conversation.

Since Trojan took over it’s been horrible. I cannot stress horrible enough. Bring back Cube! For starters, as I’m writing this on September 21st, 2022. I haven’t been able to move any more of my things into my third floor storage unit because the elevator has been out for an entire two weeks! The women working the front desk have zero clue about anything. Not to mention every time you walk in the facility there’s a screeching loud siren beeping going on, and they act like they don’t even hear it. But I guess their frequent walking next door to the local watering hole at 3 PM would be the reason why the front office is always closed! Two whole weeks and I cannot move more things in my unit because they can’t seem to find a technician to fix the elevator. Oh and you’re not allowed to stay more than 30 minutes because that’s strictly prohibited! So at 31 minutes you are in violation! I will be moving out asap. Do NOT USE THIS LOCATION OR THIS COMPANY!

This place is a freaking nightmare. My locker got broken into, and they didn't bother to notify me for a week. Then they "changed ownership" (which seems likely to be just a way to avoid liability for a string of break-ins at multiple locations).Change in ownership meant they botched the bookkeeping, and charged me a bunch of fees that I didn't owe as a result. They promised to refund those, but do you think that actually happened? Do you? One guess...

Excellent storage company! Close proximity to downtown but removed from major traffic and in a very safe location. Plenty of parking, great hours of accessibility beyond office hours, clean and climate controlled, bathroom access, secure elevator, wonderful help from both the general and store manager. I didn’t end up needing a unit as long as I thought but know exactly where I’m going if I ever do.
