Great small mom and pop landscaping supply. Fully stocked, friendly and great local company.

I am giving a one star since there is nothing below it. One of the worst suppliers I have dealt with. We ordered topsoil from them. When the truck arrived, the driver refused to come on our driveway and drop the soil on our property. He ended up dumping it outside of our property on land owned by Homeowner's association. This caused a lot of trouble with HOA and additional expense to move the soil + clean up.In addition they are very rude and want to charge for additional time when they are causing the delay by not following through on the promise to deliver the soil on the property. I will never ever order anything from this vendor again. Also I should add that they charge an extra 10% if you use a credit card for payment. They want you to pay cash. They do not accept checks. I have seen processing fees of 2% or 3%, for credit cards but 10% is pretty high by any standards. My recommendation, avoid this company if you can,

Horrible quality of river rock! I bought 4 yards and was given maybe 4 yards of smaller rock with 1 yard of dirt and 1 yard of crushed rock. A waste of my clients money and a whole day wasted cleaning and sifting. Spoke to owner on phone and he did nothing besides state excuses and tell me he can't do anything for me. I wouod never use this place again. Besides the lovely lady I spoke with that seems to run things the owner I would never buy from again.

What is less than one star? I emailed for a quote for 3 yards total delivered. I am still shocked by the price. I replied to let "Joe" know what I thought of his prices and 4 emails later he is still fishing for details and more insults. The dude is insane! Do NOT anything here!!! And I didn't even go there thank goodness.Like the other guy said in the reviews, you could buy manual crushed blue granite from Canada and delivered for the price of this place!!! Like many other said, steer clear. And OMG he just replied to me to tell me how large his wife's chest was. Dude. Please stay away from me. Blocked!

This place is like your local dive bar (they even have a “happy hour”). Old and random things all over. There’s no shortage of Costco items for sale either. I needed 20 yards of regular 5/8” minus. They charge a staggering $67.50 a yard. I can buy specialty crushed granite rock delivered from canada for that price. I can buy that same 5/8” minus delivered for $15 a ton. But I guess if the rich unknowing residents in that area are willing to pay that ridiculous price, then I can’t complain about a business capitalizing on that. They also charge 10% to use a card and it’s not listed on the website. The food was different but I respect the hustle. I didn’t see the required postings that they were legal to sell food, but again more power to ya. The food options sounded good until I realized it’s just Costco frozen food reheated in a microwave. I was surprised you didn’t sell the chicken bake.Lastly the ladies working were nice and respectful and great to chat with.

Stop- don’t shop here! It’s wish I had read the the reviews and bought supplies somewhere else. I’ve like to support local businesses BUT. I just spent way to much time purchasing and picking up a pickup load of mulch- which we paid for, our truck was filled loaded with top soil then the emptied it and argued with us that we did not want mulch- we ended up spending too much time and money for a product that we didn’t want.

After waiting for nearly 24hrs for an initial quote (after calling and emailing), there was no commitment on delivery time and instead "they would put us on the schedule". As a result, I found a different option. However, I continued to receive harassing emails about how I was "MIA", "uncommunicative", and "disrespectful", even after I confirmed I found a better option. Highly recommend not engaging with this company at all.

I have loved northwest gardening and landscaping since 1983, that's a very long time! Geez, I guess I am old now. That being said, there is a LOT to learn about landscaping materials. This place has the BETA INFO on NW landscaping...There is absolutely no comparison the JOES DARK FINE AGED bark. This product is highly recommended for our regions yards and landscapes because it gives a natural "high end" finish and accent color to the views from inside your home as well as the presentation of your landscape. Dark fine aged bark is a family legacy process that excludes dyes, excessive dark composts and chemicals that other similar competing products have included. Dark fine aged bark is naturally dark through an aging process that produces an acidity compatible to northwest native plants. Layed out in 2-4 inches it successfully hinders the germination of weeds from underneath and propigation of unwanted noxious weed seeds from the surface. I don't know what it is about having a giant pile of rocks in my driveway to shovel into a wheelbarrow and strategically settle them into areas of my yard but I strongly recommend it as a therapy for the soul. Joe's Landscape Supplies has a keen knowledge of lawn, soil, and landscape construction products. There are also super savings on pavers and bricks if you look for them. A cool idea is to make walkway steps out of the 1860 Pioneer Square cobble bricks a super unique antique hipster Seattle yard amendment for sure. Joe...We appreciate you. Thanks so much!!

This is a very unprofessional operation. When I went in, I had to wait patiently while joe and another employee were bickering, only when they were complete was my business handled. They wanted to charge me for 2 deliveries($290). Only when I asked about combining the 2 different rocks into a single delivery did they tell me that was an option ($180). Joe adds all these additional fees on top of your delivery. 10% charge for not using cash, 10% sales tax when it's 6.5% in state. There's also these bogus charges he adds on the invoice like if he has to wait for a minute or two at location. He gave me an invoice with the wrong day for delivery. I missed it, and he left me a less than pleasant voicemail when he showed up and I wasn't there. Even though his invoice was wrong, I offered to meet him halfway on paying for an additional delivery. Since I missed his mistake, I offered to pay half the price for him to come out again. He refused to charge half. This is what pissed me off the most. This guy refuses to accept responsibility for his mistakes. At joes landscaping, its joe who is always right...not the customer. Avoid this place!! There are other options.

Couldn't be happier with the service or the product purchased - I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

This is one of the worst businesses I've ever attempted to buy from. Their 2 yard bucket is actually a 1.5 yard bucket so they've been scamming people for years. Everything is WAY overpriced, and the owner is extremely rude. I went in to buy product and their brand new employee swore at me and told me he wouldnt serve me without giving a reason. I will never recommend anyone buy product from them. There are plenty of other places you can buy from locally that don't charge over 2x the price as Pacific Topsoil.

A small business makin' it work in challenging times. Love supporting these kinds of places. In particular, the staff was friendly & competent, Joe himself serves Customers, and the location is easy to get to and from.

I wanted to support this small local business, but after reading their political/religious proganda advertisements in their window I decided to go somewhere else that does not advertise their hate. Went down the road to another company instead, were they dont force their political view on you

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They sell dog and cat food that is expired more than seven years. So careful if you buy from Joe he is trying to kill your pets. What disgusting disgrace of a human. Also sells you less products for more so make sure you weigh your s*** before letting Joe charge you drive off..

Called to get a quote for mulch and was not charged the same as quoted. Also found out after the product was loaded they charge almost the same price for 1/2 yard. During the loading process I stopped them from loading and had to remove some of the material, it was more mud than mulch. I have always gone to D' Young's Bark in the past, maybe I have been spoiled by the quality product and the superior customer service.
