If I could give ZERO 0 stars, I would. The manager there doesn't know anything, every time he helps me, he has to call someone else. He never smiles, he doesn't greet you and he doesn't act like he even wants to help you. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS MANAGER, Hoss

This is ridiculous! I can't believe the lack of customer service here. I waited in line for a whopping 30 minutes, only to be met with a teller at the drive-through who seemed completely disinterested in helping me. And to make matters worse, there was only one teller actually working! It's about time Key Bank considers closing this branch and turning it into a Starbucks. The entire staff is incredibly slow, and the manager acts like they're hand-picked to walk around the branch like some sort of elementary school principal. Unbelievable!

It is a nice branch. Hoss the manager is very nice and it compares favorably with most banks in Woodinville.

As a well-established out-of-state Keybank business customer, I reached out today to Woodinville WA branch manager Hossian Hafiz to discuss transactional assistance I required locally as I couldn't be there in-person. The experience with him from beginning to end was absolutely terrible -- effectively concluding after he repeatedly said he" didn't want to assume any responsibility," that ""he was very busy," and "he couldn't be on the phone with me for four hours" at only 20 minutes into the call.Aside from his dishonest hyperbole showing him to be unprofessional and not credible, the time involved was not exceptional as I was explaining the situation and the types of standard banking assistance under similar circumstances that I have received from other banks in my 40 plus years in business and professional life.I was stunned that a so-called "manager" would be so lacking in any sense of customer service or commitment to a "total business relationship" with this self-absorbed, fear-driven, and entirely unhelpful mindset. The man is over his head and has clear contempt for his customers' own time and reasonable needs as he inappropriately guards his own as a deflection from doing his job properly. All he did was give me a telephone number to the Keybank business call center - so he's very good at dumping customers concerns onto others and has no idea what a "see it, own it, fix it" professional standard and value system even entails. So I join with all the other embarrassingly negative assessments of the Woodinville branch and wonder why Keybank and Mr. Hafiz's area supervisor won't step in and fix this evident branch-level problem - starting first with finding more competent and service oriented personnel.

Was a customer for years, had to move banks after the Juanita branch closed years ago. Just went in to try and make change for a 50. Said they wouldn't do it since I'm no longer an active customer. Went to USbank to see if that was standard policy, it's not. They're just not helpful. Can't imagine what problems I'd run into if i was still there. Glad I needed to leave all those years ago.

I have been waiting for my card since February and it still hasn't arrived mind you they sent me a letter in the mail saying they need to verify my address still not letting me know that they did not sent out my card until I went to the bank. I have money in my bank account that I need to get out but I cant since I dont have my card. I never had a problem with Chase makes me miss having an account with Chase.

This bank offers initial credit lines that are attractive, but then eliminates available credit after carrying any kind of balance. They closed my account after paying the balance off. I have 2 family members that left to other banks because of this same issue. Very deceiving, I regret trusting this bank with my hard earned money.

Fast and friendly customer support. Getting out of their way to help customers. Improved security. Better than rest of the round of the mill banks.

It should have/could have been real simple. I have a Canadian twenty-dollar bill in my wallet, I want to exchange it for American money, I take the twenty to a bank expecting ate best that I'd get a straight-up exchange, and ant worst that I'd have to pay some sort of conversion fee, bank fee, penalty, tax, service fee and insurance collateral to get my American Money. I did NOT expect what happened at the Woodinville Key Bank KeyCenter, located at 14040 NE Woodinville-Duvall Road in Woodinville, Washington 98072 or the cold treatment and lies I received from Branch Manager Penny Troth. The whole transaction went down like this: ME: (Waiting in line ten minutes on my own while the single teller is explaining something to another customer. I can understand and accept this. Another teller finally opens her window) TELLER: "I can help you here, sir!" ME: "Thank you! This should be real easy, I just have a Canadian twenty here that I'd like to exchange for American money, please" TELLER: "Of course! Do you have an account with us?" ME: "I do not." TELLER: "I'm sorry sir, we only do that for Account Holders. ME: "Really? Well that's just great... let's go ahead and open an account then." TELLER: "Oh! Okay! Well then I'll just need two forms of identification, and minimum opening balance will be $50" ME: "That's fine, I only need to keep the account open long enough to exchange the $20, then I'll be closing the account" TELLER: (Stunned) "There's a $5 account termination fee..." ME: "That's great, that's fine. Would be a lot easier if you'd just cash out my Canadian twenty, but I'm willing to spend $5 and a bit of your time to get this done proper" TELLER: "Okay... one moment please..." PENNY TROTH: "Hello, I understand you want to open an account and then close an account?" (An exchange goes back and forth where I explain that all I want is to trade my Canadian money for American money and she attempts to talk me out of it with an escalating parade of excuses starting at "That's for account holders only" to "You need a $50 deposit" to "There's a $5 termination fee", just as the teller before had done... and then she started telling lies) PENNY TROTH: "I'm sorry, but we can't give you an account for that. And besides, we don't handle Canadian money at this branch. It is each Branch's decision as to if they will handle foreign currency, and this branch does not". ME: (Long and dithering string of comments like "Really?" and "You're telling me that you're an American Bank, a place where people are supposed to feel secure in bringing their financial concerns, and you don't DO money from a country that's a quick drive away?" that didn't even touch on THE OVERWHELMING QUESTION OF WHY WE'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS FOR TWENTY MINUTES AND YOU'RE JUT NOW TELLING ME YOU DON'T DO CANADIAN MONEY?!?!?!) "Fine. Fine. Whatever. And your name, please?" PENNY TROTH: "I'll be happy to get you my card" (She slowly walked over to where her card was, greeting each other customer in a way that reminded me of a scene from "Big Top Pee Wee") I then drove away with my $20 Canadian, extremely angry. Key Bank had SEVERAL opportunities to try and make me a potential happy customer there, and instead they turned it in to an adversarial stand-off where they had to make up policies on the fly just to try and get me out of their bank. I don't know about other branches, but I assume from this experience that all Key Banks SUCK.
