Great staff. Their love of dogs and training both them (and their owners) is very evident. They take the time to work with you and your dog to help iron out kinks and get things pointed in the right direction.

These guys know dogs. Dave and Becky teach dogs and people. They have a day kennel also. Big wide open grass fields for them to run and play.

We contacted Becky at Puppy Manners for help with the training of our two Maltese, mostly so they wouldn’t bark so much when out walking or when guests came. After describing our situation, Becky recommended that a private lesson to tweak a few things was probably all that was needed. Julie, one of the trainers, came to our home and, after observing the dynamics in the house, offered several helpful suggestions which have worked perfectly. Our two little ones also now seem more confident and less stressed when out walking. We’re really happy with the progress we’ve achieved and highly recommend Puppy Manners.

Didn’t have a good experience here with my girlfriends puppy a few years back. It’s still sitting with me so I’m finally writing this review. We stuck it through the whole training series but we were rubbed the wrong way by the trainer’s know-it-all attitude. There were some useful things you learn but there has to be trainers out there with better people skills. I thought some of their methods to correct what they perceived as problematic behavior, or play styles that were “too rough”, were a little harsh.

This place is amazing. It has incredibly well trained staff who love the dogs. They have a puppy day program 2x a week and she learns how to socialize with other puppies in a safe environment. She comes home way better behaved than when I left her knowing all sorts of new thing like not jumping. And when I drop her off she is so excited to be there. They have a large property with outdoor space for the dogs to run and play, covered outdoor space when the weather is terrible and indoor space as well. Their training programs are fantastic as well.

Puppy Manners provides straightforward and compassionate training for puppies & dogs. Our puppy has taken two sets of classes there & she is also going to the day care once or twice a week. We highly recommend Puppy Manners & their trainers! We have seen so much improvement in our pups behavior, her ability to walk without pulling on the leash & in her interactions with other dogs.

I am so grateful for Becky and the puppy manners crew. My husband was weary of getting a big dog, because he would be a first time dog owner and wanted to make sure we did proper training. We took our first dog, Burt, to puppy manners for puppy socialization during the pandemic. That, in addition to puppacino + star barks training courses, helped us train our dream dog. Becky is an expert in her field. She not only gave us the tools to train Burt, but also explained ways in which dogs think, impacting their behavior. Burt is a social, sweet, polite boy and we don’t have to worry about him being naughty at the dog park, when we have guests or when we are in new places. Now almost 3 years later, we have adopted a rescue dog, Corn, who is beginning to flourish because of Becky’s training and support. I recommend puppy manners to anyone who loves their dog and would do anything for them! If that is you, give puppy manners a call. Also, my dogs just love it there!!! See photos for proof it is puppy Disneyland

My dog is a very happy dog now thanks to the Puppy Manners staff! Great way to have your dog socializing all day long, and also be supervised by someone with experience in dog interactions! The place been recommended to me and it's been 5 great months since I started bringing my puppy there. So I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

I went to one Puppy Manners class and never returned after witnessing horrible behavior by George. He full-body pinned a puppy to the ground in front of the whole class while the puppy screamed in terror, until the puppy urinated on itself. Becky was present and let the whole thing happen. Steer clear of this dangerous place.EDIT TO ADD: In response to this review, I got a very long email from Becky justifying her actions and scolding me for this review because it wasn't the "courteous" thing to do. I stand by my review that Puppy Manners is dangerous, and I believe it IS the courteous thing to do to warn people about my experience there. Beware.

Did a private lesson with George. He talked to the person not the puppy and provided the why behind the recommendations.

We spent over $10,000 with this place. Full training for our English Cream Retriever starting at 9 weeks old. 2 weeks on site immersive training. It went well. So, we started trusting them for kenneling when we went on trips. Don’t trust them with this. Our sweet gentle girl had her ear ripped apart by a French Bulldog, had to be rushed to hospital to stitch it back together. Not sure why they had large dogs with small nippers. Maybe bad judgement to sent her back there 6 mos. later. Well, they put them together again and our girl defended herself. They labeled her an aggressive dog and recommended to but her down. The older woman that runs the kennel is a complete female dog (insert correct word here). Blames us for what happened, basically bans us from coming back again, unbelievable. This woman should not be working with animals. Don’t trust her! She should be arrested for animal abuse!

Terrible. The old woman that owns this place should be out down. She told me this much about my sweet 10 week old golden who was attacked multiple times under her horrific care. Do not trust this place with your puppy!

My veterinarian recommended Puppy Manners. My Boston Terrier was about 3 months old with health issues. They provided an opportunity for socializing I couldn't provide due to COVID-19 precautions. They provided great socialization in a safe environment. The staff are knowledgeable and good with the puppies. She started at attending 2 days a week. When I needed to return to the office from full time teleworking, it provided great peace of mind for her to be there while I work. They dealt with her health issues expertly. I was updated when I picked her up on what health issues may have happened that day. Then I could keep the vet specialists current. She has been attending the puppy day camp for almost 8 months. She is so excited when our car turns down their drive. She is so eager to get out and greet the staff. It is her home away from home.
