Not sure why so many people hate the Post Office. The employees at this location have always been helpful. Sure the lines are long sometimes, but that’s just the volume of people with the budget the government gives them. I’ve shipped many packages and they’re always helpful. I tend to just go early in the day or over lunch and it’s much faster.

I had a frustrating experience with one of the staff members—an older Asian woman who unfortunately was quite difficult to understand due to mumbling on top of a heavy accent. I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times, which slowed down the process significantly, especially with a line out the door. On top of that, she suggested unnecessary options that added to the confusion. It should have been a quick visit to mail a letter out of country, (with forms pre filled out) This woman needs to be fired.

Unwilling to print labels, and rude. Seems like an easy process, but maybe not

Needed a simple change of address. I stand in line for 20 minutes, get to the counter, snappy employee thrusts a form at me and tells me to fill it out and go to the back of the line.
I get all the way back through the line again, and right as I'm up she flips her sign and goes on a break. Had to wait even longer for someone else to show up, who then informed me that I'd actually have to go to the Kirkland post office instead.
Writing reviews for the post office is like screaming into the void, no one will ever make any changes in response to the negative feedback. But boy is it nice to see how many other people absolutely hate these jokers.

I was just inside the woodinville. Post Office at 4 20 p m with a package to send , the postage is Already paid for .
part of the bag had a tear and I didn't have any tape with me. The lady made me leave because I wouldn't buy tape. She wouldn't let me use 2 pieces of tape From the Post Office when they had a whole bunch of tape sitting around where she was standing. I don't know her name, but I looked at her and said, are you serious? And she just wouldn't let me use 2 pieces of tape. Unbelievable,

The people who work here are unable to do one of the simplest desk jobs in the US. They never are able to come up with any answers to why they lose my packages and just pass the blame down the chain of command. I had a supervisor promise that a package that they had not delivered would be delivered to me the next day. The package never came. I checked the day after the day it was promised to arrive (today) and the package is in Chicago. When I came in to speak with another supervisor, she was absolutely useless and could not give any reason as to how my package that was promised to arrive in Woodinville WA, is all the way now in Chicago, IL. Empty in the eyes, empty in the mind.
UPDATE 5/31/25: THESE GUYS STILL SUCK

Review for Daniel at USPS de Woodinville Wa
Today I came to mail a package and was helped by Daniel, who has assisted me before. I have to say—it’s truly remarkable the level of service he provides. He always greets customers with a smile, is genuinely eager to help, and consistently offers practical solutions.
This isn’t the first time he’s helped me; it’s been over three times now, and every single time his attitude has been outstanding. Today, he even remembered that the last time I came, I was with my mother-in-law, and he asked how she was doing. That small gesture really stood out to me.
It’s rare to find someone who delivers this kind of service—especially in a public service role. He deserves recognition for his kindness, professionalism, and care. I wish more people like Daniel worked at the post office. Truly an outstanding employee!

I sent out eight wedding invitations, and only six of them got to their destination. One was supposed to arrive in Bellingham and one in Yakima and neither of them made it - Very disappointed and sad that this is what the United States Postal Service has come to: you can’t even trust them to get a letter to its destination safely and efficiently. Now two of my guests are without invites …

I’m giving this Post Office a 1 star only due to I shipped out 17 individual packages and all but 1 packages arrived before the estimated delivery arrival date and nothing wrong is with the last package however they haven’t delivered the package and still have it in the facility for well over 3 months. Nothing has been done to fix the problem.

I live in Kirkland but the Kirkland USPS is so egregious to visit, it's worth the short jaunt to Woodinville to handle mail. More workers on duty, more efficient, more stocked on forms and stickers.
Customer Service was great in Kirkland, just slow.
Customer service in Woodinville is equally as good, but faster.

This is one place where sticking myself in the eye with an icepick would be more pleasant than interacting with the employees who work there.

Appreciate the quality service, with only one person in front of me, didn't have to waste too much time. Knowledgeable clerks, much better than Bothell or Mill Creek offices.
