“I am a tour guide who spends a lot of time in the Woodinville wine districts. Pondera is one of my favorite wineries to bring my groups. The entire slate of wines are always great. I don’t know of any winery that wins more accolades from the Washington Wine awards.
My groups consistently purchase wine from Pondera. Today was no different with a couple cases loaded in the back of my van.
The owners and staff treat me and my guests like family.
One huge bonus is the dual purpose of the Pondera tasting room. This space doubles as showroom for the Howard/Mandville Gallery. A wonderful collection of amazing paintings from around the world.

“Great little spot with duck eggs, local produce, Samish Bay cheeses, a plethora of refrigerated prepared foods, and tasty baked goods! Free parking in lot and attentive customer service are also found here and I look forward to future visits. The prices are quite high but the food appears to be of great quality.”
“Beautiful new tasting room in Wine Alley! I hadn't realized they opened 2 years ago during the pandemic Era but am so glad I was able to visit recently! They have a 5 wine tasting menu for $20, or waived with a $40 bottle purchase as well as glass pours and truffle popcorn. My friend and I dropped in for a class of their 2013 Cabernet library pour and the truffle popcorn. The space was absolutely beautiful and inviting. They didn't pressure us to join their wine club. Instead, there was information available at every table in the place. They offer a happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays with pours being half off. We will definitely be back to try other wines!”

“We stopped while on a road trip. We misunderstood their restaurant lunch hours; but, even though they had several large events and a wedding planned for the day they went above and beyond to make our tasting experience INCREDIBLE! Julia knew fun little facts about each wine, the grape, etc and the entire experience was wonderful. I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner (and I'll make a reservation next time). Thank you!”
