We loved pulling up to the property after an 11 hour drive to see this lovely oasis for us (four adults) and couldn’t wait to unwind. The host Tim is very kind and welcoming. Tim and his wife live on the main level of the house (on site) and the rental is the basement level.
Still a beautiful stay!

I had the pleasure to stay at MapleRidge house for a second time. Located in the hills it offers the perfect retreat for a business- or private trip to the area.
Firewood was already laid out in the fireplace, comfy blankets on the sofa. Great to wind down after a busy day!
Update 2025: now with family, it has been as great and relaxing as I expected. Our three kids had a great time on the patio and in the garden and Tim was very accommodating. We are all looking to return to this little oasis in the woods again.

We had a lovely two night stay at the maple ridge cabin in July 2025. The owner, Tim, went to great lengths to make us (including our infant) feel welcomed and taken care of. Highlights included: the deck with a breathtaking view, thoughtful decor and supplies, and heart-fully developed grounds. Highly recommend!

Awesome place to stay with friends or family! Theres things to do in the apartment and around it, go up lewis river rd. Super nice and giving host, I would come here again.

We stayed at Maple Ridge House for Christmas week. Knowing ahead of time that we were bringing young kids, Tim offered and decorated the space with a Christmas tree, stockings, and other thoughtful touches! It was more than spacious enough for our family of four, we even hosted local family members on two evenings. We felt very welcomed, and every amenity that we could think of was there for us, including a very well stocked kitchen. On top of all that, you can’t beat the view!

Perfect spot for a family getaway, as a jumping off spot for adventures, or a quiet retreat. Tim is a fantastic host and will point you in the right direction of whatever might interest you so you don't have to pre-plan! I highly recommend the Grist Mill and the Lelooska. Accommodations are so comfortable, the wildlife and views breathtaking.

Really lovely time at MapleRidge house. Visited in early August. View from back patio is magical and atmosphere is relaxing. Great location for activities around south Mt. Saint Helens. Furnishings are comfortable and kitchen is thoughtfully equipped. Hope to visit again next year.

Had an enjoyable few days at Maple Ridge House. Beautiful home and peaceful surroundings. We especially enjoyed our sightings of mama and her two fawns. The amenities are the best and well thought out. Having stayed at our share of lodgings, the extra touches were appreciated. The fresh roses from the garden were wonderful.
The hosts are attentive and easy to work with. Don’t hesitate to book!

Tim and Lee are very friendly and gracious people and they have become our Ohana.We came from Hawaii and really enjoyed the Maple Ridge House especially looking out and seeing all the greenery. Best place ever to stay in Washington hands-down. Nice little secluded area up in the hills of Washington. The owners are fabulous very friendly and kind hearted. We would stay here again definitely.

I couldn't recommend Maple Ridge more! It's perfect for a private solo recharge (which is just what I needed!) but also set up to host a whole group comfortably. The views are spectacular and the grounds very thoughtfully and beautifully manicured.The hosts are very attentive to needs you may have and are very receptive and warm.No matter how long you stay, you'll wish you had more time!

Tim and Lee were the most gracious and welcoming hosts. The place was beautiful and private but what made this place so special was the conversations and stories we shared with our hosts. Tim and Lee were so personable and they were the type of hosts that made us feel like a part of their family. I will return and stay with them the moment we make our way back to the area.
