I was having a hard time replacing the battery on my sisters car. Needed some sockets and an extension. Michael was super helpful and friendly. The best experience I have ever had in an Ace Hardware. Thank you Michael!

I can’t THANK YOU enough for having competent people who can use a manual key maker. I went everywhere else in town to find digital machines that can’t do it, or have the manual key maker but no one knows how to run it. You saved me a lot of money because the next step would be locksmith or contacting the manufacturer. The keys work perfectly. If I need any kind of key again I am saving myself the headache and going here first.

My partner and I shop here often since it’s close to home. Every time I stop by to shop for something I need, I feel like I’m being monitored. The lady/employee at the entry way stated out loud into her microphone “heavy set male.” Very unsettling, can come off as racial profiling tbh. Secondly “heavy set” very unprofessional.
Made us feel so uncomfortable! Do better.

I think that Stein’s Ace Hardware is the best hardware store I have ever used and that is saying a lot because I’m 74 years young and have frequented hardware stores in my previous residences in Connecticut and Maryland. Regardless of the products or services I use at Stein’s, I have always had positive, professional and informative experiences with their sales / customer service individuals. I own a home located four miles from Stein’s and they are the place I go to for whatever I need for my house & property from chainsaw’s to custom made screens to horse feed to making keys and more. They are my first stop and often my last stop. As a single woman, I implicitly trust their advice and recommendations.

Repairing an old lamp and went for some advice. Expensive pottery barn lamp and I couldn’t find parts. After talking to the helpful staff(they always are) they said they do lamp repairs. I brought the lamp down and they had it for a few days. They couldn’t find parts for it but did fix it for us. Under $20.00 for the repair. Love doing business with them.

Every time I shop at Steins Ace Hardware, I've had great service. The staff is very helpful and if they don't know what I'm looking for, they find someone that will. The only time I've had a bad experience was two weeks ago the man in the plumbing section was rude and didn't seem to want to help me. But the trainee was very nice and helpful.

Sheer pins broke and needed to be replaced. Easy for most, but not for me. Leonard came to my house on his own time and replaced the pins. This is the best customer service ever!! Thank you Leonard and Stein Ace!
