Our experience was good from start to completion. My first conversation with Stacy in the Yakima office, followed up by working with Eva the estimator from Spokane area and Penny, the moving coordinator in the Richland office, all were so professional and helpful. Chris and Joe, the moving crew, were so easy to work with too. Thanks to all!

Not a great experience at all. After the agreed upon moving and assembling furniture we were left with beds to assemble among other details like putting back together our treadmill and a missing key. More noteworthy was one person trying to offload our freezer full of meat by himself, leading to the freezer falling out of the truck and damaging it significantly. It is not freezing properly now and will need to be replaced. The mover himself “This was my fault. I should not have moved it by myself and we should have removed the meat from the freezer before we moved it.” Bekins response, according to the details of the legal documents our broken freezer did not happen due to negligence. So they sent us a $96 check and washed their hands of it- no further discussion.I would not recommend Bekin and would look elsewhere. Disheartening the level of customer service these days, Bekin is a prime example.

Very professional, organized. The movers that helped on both sides of the move were very helpful, friendly and we were beyond pleased with the Bekins Yakima moving group. Would highly recommend!

Very please with the three young gentlemen, Andres, Osiel and Lucas who picked up our belongings. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Bekins did a phenomenal job with our move from Yakima to Tacoma. Everything from the first phone call to delivery was done with great professionalism and with great value for money. The moving team was just the absolute best. They were on time, quick and careful with all of our items and did a phenomenal job communicating with every step. Can’t recommend them enough! You guys are the best! Thank you!

The crew was careful to protect our home and furniture while loading and again at unloading/placing at our destination. The move went smoothly and followed exactly what we were told. Thanks Bekins!

Bekins was extremely professional from the first phone call to final delivery. The initial estimate was quick and easy. The team that came to load our stuff was efficient, professional and respectful. They protected my doorway, floors and carpet, as well as, took great care in wrapping my furniture with blankets, plastic and packing my TV and a large mirror. They securely stored my items for a few days between houses and delivered my items to the new house, placing things were I wanted them. Great company to work with! Huge shout out to our team lead Jerry who was experienced, professional and had great humor!

Chris and his team had a hard time getting to my downtown Seattle apartment due to big city issues like traffic and large truck fitting into tight alley loading bay etc.which is understandable. Regardless the tricky start they were very friendly, efficient and hard workers. I appreciated their work ethic, respect of me as well as my personal items. I consider this valuable resources and support at a stressful and difficult move, I also had a storage unit to add to the job. The team made my stress level drop dramatically with their friendliness, respect and noticeable desire to be helpful as well as their desire to do a good job.

So far everything is great. Only a couple problems. The controller for the select comfort air bed has not been found. Also please remind the guys that they should NOT pack a wet towel with other stuff. They were pleasant to work with. Helpful and went above and beyond dealing with the king size log bed.

The absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. These guys made moving significantly more difficult than it needed to be. Not only are they rude, they told the mailman to send my package away because they didn’t recognize the last name. We are MOVING and don’t have time to mess around with UPS. When I called to ask the office about it, they didn’t even care. “They probably thought they were helping.”Well, they didn’t. They made things worse by unnecessarily involving themselves. Then the office blindly defends them without even gathering information. That lets me know WHY they think it was okay to reject my delivery. ZERO accountability! It’s disgusting. 0/10 would NOT recommend. Please try ANY other moving company. The receptionist Tracy needs a lesson on customer service at the very least. Her voice and attitude are unbearable.

The office staff worker was more concerned about her vacation then the customer. I moved with the government so many times in 45 years this being the least concerned for the customer. This being my last move after retiring when the Yakima Bekins office staff "Stacy" decided my delivery date her self. She called on the 21 to discuss possible dates, stated she would call back on the 28th and didn't. I get an email on the morning of the 29th stating it being delivered that morning. I sent my email on the 28th to the govt and Bekins Yakima & Florida, since Stacy didn't call when she said she would. Stating Nov 1 was good since that was what the government had projected. Workers did show up at 830 with our HHGs, they did what Stacy scheduled for them. Rating: Office Staff 1 of 10; Workers a 10 of 10.

Our move started out with a grossly underestimated weight and a lot of conversation after that about how the agent would "help us out" by trying to drop costs in different places. I was told repeatedly the most I could ever pay was 110% of the original estimated bill. We paid 127% in the end and were told we couldn't file our clams without payment in full. This was $3619.04 higher than the max expected even with the additional 10%. There was threat of us owing 150% but this number was a moving target. The movers could not get the truck up our hill, which was the same location that our previous movers had no trouble with just 3 years prior to that. We had Fed Ex, UPS, garbage trucks up that hill all the time without problem and the estimator did not have any concerns for the hill. They refused to continue to load until I signed a form stating I would pay $1200 extra for a shuttle. Later the broker tried to add $1250. Our items were then moved twice just to get them on the main truck. They were poorly packed and thus ended up needing a second truck. Boxes I had packed were inside Bekin's boxes. Pillows were stuffed into large boxes and paper filled spaces that could have gotten pillows. Toilet bowl cleaner was on top of pillows...The inventory was a mess and with the delivery of our first truck, the missing items that were supposed to be on it were said to "surely be on the second truck." The departure weight was very high and we found out after that that we could view the delivery weight prior to unload. It was 1720 lbs less than the reported departure weight, which had no explanation. There were a lot of items I could never check off even from careful monitoring of unloading either truck. Now with the process of claims for all the damaged items we have, we are being offered a settlement at 44% of the originally estimated damage costs to replace or satisfactorily repair the damaged items through this move. I have submitted the information requested and asked for a review only to be met with a settlement that they state is held firm and only offered for 60 days, which ends next week. As I review through this process, I see unprofessionalism, strongholding behavior, and dishonesty in every direction.
